This weekend took a toll on me. I don’t think I’ve gone out in the wee hours of the next morning in that many consecutive days since college. Wednesday was spent at Sissy’s filled with dinner, Shark Tank, and video games. Thursday, which I spoke about in the last post about, was filled with St. Patrick’s celebration with Sammy. Drinking then gazing up at the moon as I recovered from the drinking. Look how gorgeous it was.

Friday was Bonnie’s birthday where we went for dinner at Wooster’s then Pete’s Piano Bar for some joyous music. Second time in a month I get to see Michelle and we were able to do our 2nd Annual Photobooth picture which makes me happy. Another photo strip to add to my collection.

Saturday morning was the Petco Adoption event which Phrolic and Cas performed at. Sadly the food truck guy was sick so a lot of things fell through and it became a big mess of an event. I felt bad that some people drove out hoping it to be a bigger even than it really was but I’m happy so many pups got adopted that day!

Amanda’s boyfriend was in town and she invited Michelle and I out with them and their friends. We went and got drinks at a bar then headed to some other bar where we literally danced the night away. I usually do the whole dancing thing in San Antonio, so it was nice getting to do so with these girls … and boys. haha I’m pretty sure Amanda’s boyfriend and friends thought I was crazy. But I do what I want!

Sunday was literally a do nothing day until dinner time came. Birthday dinner for Gordon which took way longer than we thought it would but it was nice having a chance to talk and reminisce about the past and who we use to be and who we are now. Those are always fun.

Two more days of work until the weekend though not much of a weekend to be honest. I’ll finally be taking my wisdom teeth out Thursday so while everyone is having their crawfish boils and having fun, I’ll be doing nothing but laying in bed and cuddling with Rizzo … which isn’t so bad. I mean, just look at his face!

I understand I did a Tuesday things on a Wednesday but who cares. No one. Especially not this girl.

Sammy and I got our green beers after work. Among other beers.I don’t know if I can hang out with him anymore. I’m getting fat hanging out with him drinking. Or maybe I just need to control myself and just not order another.

I’ve started my St Patrick’s day celebration by drinking Sea Dog’s Wild Blueberry Wheat Ale and possibly some other type of beer and wine. I know, it’s not Irish, but who the frick cares because work has been lame these past few days. Literally the face I have all day every day until work is over.

How I feel at work all day every day. Hoping, always hoping, this will end. Maybe one day someone will understand me.

I got some new spectacles. They are gigantic on my face and remind me of the early days when this use to be hip. I know they’re coming back in style but … it’s just so weird to me. Luckily these do not have the little nose pieces which mean if I put them on the top of my head, they won’t pull on my hair. I am not a big fan of them, obviously. Hopefully, they’ll grow on me. They’re navy blue and grey if you can’t tell.

I’ve been writing again. Not as much as I use to or finish a song as fast as I use to. I think I’m focusing more on the words and being a “poet”. haha Poet … but I’m just happy I’m able to write again.
