[2018] 308/365: Brunch and a Show

This is one of my favourite ways to have alone time. A meal with a show or a movie. Okay, I don’t have to be alone but it’s just nice to enjoy a show with no one talking to you sometimes. I think that’s the introvert in me. It doesn’t look super appetizing but it was delicious with what I could find at home since I was too lazy to go out and get groceries. Rice mixed with sardines in tomato sauce and mushrooms! Really simple but still enjoyable.

I have yet to finish Once Upon a Time. I haven’t had time to have it playing in the background at work so it’s been hindering me from completing the show and starting a new one.

I went and got my nails redid. They were starting to come off so I decided on a French manicure. Sadly it wasn’t done well enough but I was too tired of waiting. I was there for over two hours. Oy vey.

I stopped by Sonic for a small meal. I’ve realized a kids meal is enough food for me. And I love the itty bitty drink size. And even then it was too much for me. Since they messed up my order they got me a free drink chip! Kind of cool.

[2018] 307/365: Daniel’s Birthday

I went home and relaxed a bit before heading to Daniel’s birthday party with a six pack. I had gone to Spec’s by myself for the first time since Scruffy. It was very overwhelming how many selections there are. Usually he called the shots in that department.

Ed and Ryan were there along with three gals and five other guys. It was nice to catch up with everyone and meet others. They made fajitas but I only ate the meat and wings with homemade taziki sauce. Yum!

I also accidentally dropped my beer and almost killed the pup there. Thankfully he’s okay. I don’t know how I would live with myself.

It’s crazy how much we have changed since high school and we still have so much life to live and as we get older we tend to drift apart so it’s pretty nice to have tonight especially since Ryan will be moving soon.

Spotify teamed up with Google to give every family member plan a free Google Home Mini. This isn’t sponsored. I’m just kind of excited. The one that owns the family plan gets it, so one per family, duh.

I had to go through obstacles to get mine because my link was having issues. After hours with Spotify help desk and Google help desk we figured it out and if all goes accordingly from there my mini comes week of Thanksgiving. I went the non me route and got the coral because there’s just too much black and grey in my life.

[2018] 305/365: Supervisor Luncheon

After resolving that issue I headed to the Supervisor Luncheon with Prisila. It was nice to hear other supervisors issues and listening to a couple of kids talk. I got the tuna sandwich because TS (Taylor Swift).

After that it was back to work. I even stayed late to help Prisila with her homework since she was having questions on it. It was a mini project for Microsoft Access and I had too much fun doing it. I miss school.

Happy Halloween!! It’s been a super rainy day so Rizzo didn’t get to show off his legwarmers. I dressed him up as a girl earlier last week and pretended that that was his pumpkin picture. It worked. Haha He wasn’t a fan of either of these accessories.

Also, happy birthday to the Sissy. Brudda sent a video of Emmy saying happy birthday and I couldn’t stop watching. Sigh … Wish she was closer.

[2018] 304/365: Free Food Day

I’ve been lucky today. Prisila brought tamales and I got to try a bite! I am wanting to make this for fun because it’s so delicious. I wonder if there’s a healthier version though.

I was craving soup but they had free food for a lunch and learn so I was able to get some leftovers. The vegetables were my favourite!

We also had a Halloween party. It was pretty much just cookies and candy in one of the breakrooms! The cookies were so stinkin cute!!
