[2018] 317/365: Supervisor Intern Lunch Part III

Our second to last Supervisor Intern Lunch was had at Fuddruckers today. Joel joined us as well and we had some nice conversations with the interns. So far these are the most talkative ones out of the bunch.

When we headed back to the office Been, Joel, and I decided to take the outside route. Because it was so cold and windy Prisila and Bele took the tunnels. I can still see Bele’s face shreik in horror when she got out of the revolving doors and ran back in.

[2018] 316/365: Birds Flying High You Know How I Feel

Birds are EVERYWHERE in our work garage. It’s freaking crazy how many just chill on the ledges and powerlines. I guess the cold front really brings them in.

I went to Phonecia’s with Vicky, Tayeb, Fahad, and Dinesh. I am not sure which wrap I usually get but it is definitely not the lamb. I was bummed. Their curry vegetable hit the spot but the mashed potatoes could have been better.

I went to the doctor afterward and I’ve lost over ten pounds in less than three months! My doctor was so happy he gave me a high five. I guess that’s how it is when it’s hard to lose weight due to sicknesses. I call that a win in my book and hope I can get it down even more. Eeek!

Emmy found my stunner shades from a bachelorette party years ago and we decided it’ll be hilarious to put them on Rocky. I was surprised that he was okay with them on!

I finally went to the optometrist. I am certain I’ll be getting Lasik come end of next year since my eye sight has been the same for the last few years. Next door is a Diasio. I am certain I spelled it wrong. I was able to snag some gift type things before heading to World Market for more gift type things.

I gave Mallory her gift just because and JJ got one too. He turned two this past Wednesday and he was having a Mickey Mouse theme. He loved the trucks I got him and I was able to snap a quick picture with him before I left.

I headed straight to Lacey’s bachelorette party. It was a wild one. I was hesitant to go since it was Scruffy’s cousin’s fiance’s bachelorette but I’m glad I did. I got to see some of the family members again and it was nice to be with them without Scruffy or his family which never happens. I got to see a different side of them and it was quite nice.

I wanted to go to the second part of the bachelorette but I wanted to be home with Emmy since she will be leaving tomorrow. Here’s Rizzo wearing his new collar bowtie getup. Isn’t it cute?

[2018] 314/365: Sleepy Emmy

I’m glad I made it home just in time to spend some one on one with her. I fed her some chicken, played and sang to her, and put her to sleep. I’m sad to see her leave tomorrow but I’m happy I got this time with her. She is wild, sweet, and so easy to take care of.

[2018] 312/365: Great Weather

I am in love with this weather (minus the rain). I love the cool breeze and not so humid weather. I love that I can have my sunroof open without the air conditioner. I love that even at standstill traffic it was cool enough to not over heat.

It also helps going home not so stressed because she who shall not be named has been out. It’s been a blessing.

Plus I also have Emmy to look forward to. Sadly, unless I get awaken when they arrive I provaprowont see her until I get home from work. But regardless I am excited!!
