Work has been a whole lot of stress due to the same one lady. I didn’t have time to wallow through her awfulness since my vendors arrived and were waiting for me at the receptionist. We talked about work and what issues I found and it was a complete 360 compared to working with the lady. These people were cooperative and very down to earth and soon we were on our way to lunch. We ate at a bar and grill place and it was very nice to talk and get to know the faces behind the voices and names.

[2018] 297/365: Happy Early Birthday Mallory!

Soon enough we bid farewell and the rest of the day went by quickly. I met up with Mallory and JJ at City Center to celebrate her birthday early. We both made some purchases at Kendra Scott before heading to dinner at Bellagreen. JJ had food envy and enjoyed more than half of my pizza. He mostly ate the cheese and pepperoni off and whenever I reached over to eat his chicken or fries he’d make me give it back to him. He won’t eat it but place it on his plate. He was nice to dip me a fry off Mallory’s plate though and whenever I ate a fry and didn’t dip it in ketchup, he’d hand me the ketchup tin. He’s growing up so fast and soon enough he’ll understand our adult conversations. Uhoh!

[2018] 296/365: Poblano’s with Coworkers

Work has been crazy this last few weeks that I haven’t had any down time at work to just sit and do tedious things while listening to my shows.

When I got invited to lunch today by Justin and Vicky I took it, something I rarely do because I usually have my own packed lunch. It was nice to get away from the desk and the numerous questions I get from everyone.

Just a random fact: The Greatest Showman is an amazing movie and I LOVED every song in there. Everyone, please go watch it!

[2018] 295/365: Belated Birthday Present from Apurva

I got a surprise in the mail tonight! A super belated birthday present from Apurva! I am most excited for the purse. It is super cute!!! Oh and the shells. I don’t even know what to bake with them yet but I’ll figure something out.

The most lovely thing are her words. They mean so much to me especially at this moment in time when you feel so alone for no good reason.

You’re the best and I hope to visit you soon!

Scruffy made a fajita lunch for me and it was delicious. The cheese kind of made it too salty but that’s my fault.

[2018] 294/365: Rizzo Living His Best Life

Rizzo loved chilling outside and kept sniffing the air in the direction of where the wind would blow.

I stayed a bit longer before heading home to do laundry and meal prep. I am pooped and ready to relax with some shows.

[2018] 291/365: Me Time

This week has been so busy that I am pooped. Today was extremely busy that I didn’t get any desk work done. I was mostly moving around. It’s actually a nice change of pace with sitting down all day.

Because of how busy it’s been I decided to get a mani pedi. I haven’t had one since I started working at my new job so I thought it was only fitting to get one. I forget how much I love having my nails painted. I’m not a big fan of the Dremel but I’ll live with it for now. I didn’t take a picture of the end product but my fingernails are a fall like purple with glitter and my toenails are orangey red. It’s ready for Halloween! … If it’ll stay in that long. My nails grow ridiculously fast.
