Patricia and I got two to three hours of sleep. We’re running on low but I’m kind of used to this lifestyle while she’s not.

We went to a pan ducle shop and picked up some goodies. So many carbs in one box.

We went back home and soon enough, out the door again to get our manicures and pedicures. I went for a Christmas theme and for my toes, a orangey brown.

Then we met Doug for a late lunch at Smashin Crab. He didn’t believe us when we told him to order the boil and opted for fried seafood instead. When Patricia couldn’t finish her food, he ate the rest of hers and agreed it was better than what he ordered. My craving has been answered. I need Houston places to do more lobster at seafood boil places.

Patricia went to Ana’s grad while I stayed behind and worked. I was able to get tweleve ornaments completed in the two and a half hours she was gone!

Then she and Gary came and picked me up and we headed to Ana’s dinner of celebration and Aldacos. We were supposed to stop by her work Christmas party but the clash of timing didn’t work out.

Everything tasted fantastic and they even had drink tickets for us for free drinks. And cute little favours.

We are now currently at PK’s with Doug getting drinks and catching up before we close out the night. Patricia’s about to call it a night leaving just me and Doug to talk about life.

Today went by pretty well. I worked for a good couple hours and I’m proud to say that a script I wrote finally ran successfully without errors! And instead of a three-hour run-time, it completed in an hour and a half! This is a major milestone for me especially since I wrote it in a new tool!

Soon enough I was off to my Secondary Team’s Away Day. We stayed on campus this time since we apparently used too much money last round. We talked about this past year accomplishments (and things we didn’t accomplish) and next year’s expectations. I always learn so much with this team that I don’t mind sitting in a room with these folks talking about “boring” things.

We left and headed to The Escape Game for our 2:30pm booking. And we escaped!!! I had a great team to work with and we had fun along the way. We made an executive decision to head home and not wait for the other group in a different game.

Which brings me to this. I’ve spent six hours since I’ve been home working on these ornaments for work and I’m nowhere near done. But I enjoy it! If anyone wants ornaments made in the future or something like this, reach out to me. I gotchu! I already have someone requesting some as a Christmas presents!

Ice cream party! One of the people in my Secondary Team is leaving to be in deepwater. She’s been bugging the boss for some ice cream and balloons and finally got her wish today as we said goodbye. I went and got ice cream and jetted out of there.

I also got a jacket from the Secondary Team. Tomorrow’s our Away Day. I get to sit there and listen to people talk, then go to an escape room afterward. It’s going to be nice to get away from my desk but I know I’ll be stuck working on some things while we’re there.

I went over to Mallory’s today after work. She made spaghetti and meatballs. I mixed in pesto and tomato sauce. That pesto tastes nothing like Ashy’s. Wishing I had more and too afraid to use up the ones I have in my freezer. Sigh.

I came home to this monstrosity. I guess when you have Black Friday still coming at you along with work party things, it gets a little crazy. Not to mention, Sissy sent some of her Christmas presents here, too.

Today was quite relaxing. Chiropractic adjustment when I woke up, Loft and UPS to return items, then movies while cuddling with Rizzo. I’ve been constantly receiving packages all day as well. Between my Black Friday online shopping and the work’s Christmas party supplies coming in, it was a nice surprise to see what was arriving at my door.

I went and spent some time with Mallory as well. We ordered Favor delivery from Atami and desserts from Ooh La La Bakery thanks to free shipping! They give you so much food that I have a lot of leftovers!

JJ wanted me to teach him how to hold chopsticks and Mallory was quick at snapping pictures for memories. He’s right-handed apparently but held chopsticks in his left. It was so freaking adorable how hard he tried. He was able to use both hands on his chopsticks to grab something but in the end, reverted back to his hands. We also found out he wasn’t a big fan of the celery and boy did they put a lot of celery in.

I got to hold Jacob for a bit while Mallory showered and John took care of JJ. He had his, “okay, no more pictures please”, hand up. He’s dang good at lifting up his head now. Mallory thinks it’s weird that I compliment him on his round head.

We watched a little bit of WWE before I left which brought back a lot of memories. She told me they’re coming to town end of January. I really wish I could go because it’s something I’ve wanted since I was a kid but I don’t think it’s happening. Next time I guess.

It’s December. Another year almost to an end. Another year celebrating Rizzo coming home. Six years total. It feels like yesterday I took him home. I haven’t realized how much he’s been through with me. The ups and the downs.

We celebrated by cuddles, binging on telly, and eating leftovers from one of my favourite places, Yummy Crawfish & Seafood, from last night. I continued my crocheting project and had a completely relaxing Sunday.

Four more weekends until the new year. I need to start putting together my new year resolutions.
