Just a simple conversation between me and Mallory. I hope she doesn’t get mad I posted this but I find it hilarious.

I sent this exact message over to my family and asked when Emmy was coming down again. Brudda replied with February so I guess we’ll see what happens.

Mallory gave me my Christmas present. I love it!!! I don’t have this colour before so it’s perfect! Especially since it’s greenish and Christmas time.

I don’t have her present ready and probably won’t be ready until later. I feel bad but she says she doesn’t mind and I’m taking her word for it.

I’ve been helping her with her 24 days of Christmas wine. We enjoyed a mini champagne, red and white in the small bottles. The champagne surprised me as it wasn’t horrible at all.

she made teriyaki chicken breasts with pilaf. There’s a side of Chick-fil-A sauce to dip it in. I’ve never though of just having it dipped this way but it was perfect.

Two more days until the weekend. I’m so excited!

Everyone knows I usually leave at five in the morning and head back home after being in San Antonio. Today was different. I decided to stay and have breakfast with Patricia, Linda, Shayla, Aubry, Ashley, Ricardo, Noe, and Gerardo.

Once we finished eating, I was so tired. I took a five-minute nap before taking off. I said goodbye to Penelope and Pepper. They are so cute. I wish they got to meet Rizzo.

Must-haves for long drives. Bang energy drinks and baby cucumbers. Bang doesn’t do anything for me. I think the spike of fizziness helps. Corey was on his way home as well so we kind of kept each other company. Although he started driving at night taking him almost a whole day while mine was only for two and a half hours.

Other than some fideo, Patricia was sweet for sending me with a dozen tamales that she made with her family. I’m excited since I’ve been wanting some homemade tamales. Maybe one day she’ll invite me with her family to make some!

Four days of work before the holidays! Yippee!

Breakfast of champions by Patricia. I went for the bacon and eggs. Her bacon is on point. So crispy!

We ran some errands and then got my nails fixed since some of them lifted. Sigh. Then we went back to the house where I worked a bit longer before we went out again just to run more errands.

We were going to go get lunch since we didn’t have much going on. I had my first fideo Thursday and was craving for some more. We went back to Mia’s for some but it was a special just on Thursdays so Patricia was nice enough to make me some instead. So freaking good! It’s not as soupy but it was still perfect.

We relaxed a bit before people starting showing up. They helped us prep the foods so it went by faster. Ashley was nice enough to get us stuff from Chocolate Factory from where she works as well.

We had so much food and desserts everywhere and I don’t believe that’s everything. The meatballs were one of my favourites from Costco.

I got to hang out with these lovely folks and then some. I snuck in a picture with me and Patricia from last night since I didn’t put it up in the last post. Great new memories

I won a Google Home Mini which I’m not mad about. I never thought I’d get another one but I’m happy with my gift. It’s practical and can last for a while … hopefully.

People are still getting wild so bye world. Talk to you later.

Patricia and I got two to three hours of sleep. We’re running on low but I’m kind of used to this lifestyle while she’s not.

We went to a pan ducle shop and picked up some goodies. So many carbs in one box.

We went back home and soon enough, out the door again to get our manicures and pedicures. I went for a Christmas theme and for my toes, a orangey brown.

Then we met Doug for a late lunch at Smashin Crab. He didn’t believe us when we told him to order the boil and opted for fried seafood instead. When Patricia couldn’t finish her food, he ate the rest of hers and agreed it was better than what he ordered. My craving has been answered. I need Houston places to do more lobster at seafood boil places.

Patricia went to Ana’s grad while I stayed behind and worked. I was able to get tweleve ornaments completed in the two and a half hours she was gone!

Then she and Gary came and picked me up and we headed to Ana’s dinner of celebration and Aldacos. We were supposed to stop by her work Christmas party but the clash of timing didn’t work out.

Everything tasted fantastic and they even had drink tickets for us for free drinks. And cute little favours.

We are now currently at PK’s with Doug getting drinks and catching up before we close out the night. Patricia’s about to call it a night leaving just me and Doug to talk about life.

Today went by pretty well. I worked for a good couple hours and I’m proud to say that a script I wrote finally ran successfully without errors! And instead of a three-hour run-time, it completed in an hour and a half! This is a major milestone for me especially since I wrote it in a new tool!

Soon enough I was off to my Secondary Team’s Away Day. We stayed on campus this time since we apparently used too much money last round. We talked about this past year accomplishments (and things we didn’t accomplish) and next year’s expectations. I always learn so much with this team that I don’t mind sitting in a room with these folks talking about “boring” things.

We left and headed to The Escape Game for our 2:30pm booking. And we escaped!!! I had a great team to work with and we had fun along the way. We made an executive decision to head home and not wait for the other group in a different game.

Which brings me to this. I’ve spent six hours since I’ve been home working on these ornaments for work and I’m nowhere near done. But I enjoy it!
