[2018] 328/365: Tableside Peking Duck

It has been a very chill day. Mainly online shopping and TVB shows. I didn’t buy anything but did finally fill out my wish list for our family secret santa.

We went out for dinner with SIL’s family and we were graced with Tableside Peking duck. It’s like Tableside guacamole but with a bird. Emmy was the perfect child. She just sat and are her food quietly.

Richard's Friendsgiving | SIL, Mellie Dee, and Susan

I decided to join in on Richard’s Friendsgiving party. A much chiller party which is much appreciated since I’ll need to drive back home in the early morning. We are still here hyped and it’s great getting to catch up with everyone.

Maybe I’ll move to Dallas … Nahhhh.

2018 | Thanksgiving Dinner

Crisp Aloe Gloe

Brudda gave me this Crisp Aloe Gloe water that he’s been loving. It’s kind of like the Asian market ones except it’s way less sugar and doesn’t have all the pulp. It’s still sweet to me but not for the rest of the family.

[2018] 326/365: Thanksgiving Dinner

We had our first Thanksgiving at Brudda and SIL’s. There was a mixture of American food and Asian food. We were going to do hot pot but decided to keep that for Christmas when Sissy and BIL can make it too.

It’s been online shopping and TVB watching since then. I am excited for my 2019 planner!! And am on the search for some mini stamps to use. I am hoping to stay away from stickers since it adds bulk.

Hope you all had a very amazing Thanksgiving!

Dallas Bound

2018 | 325/365 | Dallas Roadtrip

[2018] 325/365: Dallas Bound

Work went by super slow but I didn’t complain when they let us out early since I did get a lot done and it seemed like the rest of my floor mates were just playing around.

I was happy I got time to take off and redo my nails and boy was I falling asleep being there. Then it was Dallas Bound. This is the first time we got Emmy for a road trip and boy was good. She was quiet the whole way there. She laughed and played but there was no screaming or wailing. What a good baby!

We got here around nine at night and Brudda and SIL was nice enough to get is dinner. I tried But Bo Hue for the first time and I don’t think I like it too much. Maybe it’ll grow on me though but I still like the classic pho more.

Now it’s get ready for bed and relax with a show time.

Love for Tamales

2018 | 324/365 | Alamo Tamales | Houston, Texas

[2018] 324/365: Alamo Tamales

I never knew just how great tamales were until meeting Prisila. I never knew they could be so fluffy and moist. The ones I’ve had in the past was always stuck to the husks and dried out. Since she knows the owner she gets $5 a dozen versus their price of $15 a dozen. Definitely not worth that price. I really need to learn to make my own!

Treebeards is the best

I went to lunch with Prisila, Joel, Natalie, and Fahad. They all got Chick-fil-A, Fahad got Simon’s and I stuck to my usual Treebeards. This has got to be my favourite lunch place yet.

Since the boss was out everyone was super talkative. I put on my noise cancelling headphones and worked as much as I could though. I stayed after to keep Kieran company while he taught me some coding things. It’s nice getting to learn and also talk about non work things. He talks about his girlfriend so much that I feel like if we ever met we’d be pretty awesome friends.

Peli Peli | Katy, Texas

Doozo Dumplings

Prisila, Natalia and I had lunch at the shops. I opted for dumplings and bought a cookie cake for Leslie’s birthday, one of the interns.

2018 | 323/365 | Peli Peli with Peggy

[2018] 323/365: Peli Peli with Peggy

After a gruesome day at work I took Peggy, Mum, June, Brudda and SIL ouo for dinner at Peli Peli. This is by far one of my favourite restaurants so far. Their wings are on point and their Cape Town Skillet is the bomb if you love seafood. I’m not a lover of rice but I’ll gladly eat a few bowls of this.
