Faith In Humanity NOT Restored

Happy Friday my dearies! I hope you’re putting in your 5% today at work because I am not. Day off. You know how it is. Cloud Café-ing right now. Haven’t been here in over a month or two. Eeks.

This morning I had to get a blood test done. While in the lounge waiting for my name to be called out, MOLLY starts saying her husband was just in surgery and now in recovery so she had to get her blood test done and go back to him. She asked everyone in the lounge if she can go ahead of them.

JENNA: I had an appointment at 8am (it was 8:15am or so)! And my boss is already mad at me!

MOLLY: I really need to get back to my husband. Please.

JENNA: Okay fine, you can go ahead of me since my boss hasn’t called yet. I just know he’s mad at me.

Then they do their little pleasantries (wasting time might I add). “Are you sure?” “Yes.” “Really? Omg …” etc.

The nurse calls PORSCHA’s name but PORSCHA let’s MOLLY go in front of her.

JENNA to PORSCHA: Can I go ahead of you? I had an appointment at 8am (it was 8:25am or so).

PORSCHA: We all have appointments (hers was obviously earlier than JENNA’s). But fine, I took the day off for a reason.

When my name got called, the nurse and I chatted about it. She told me MOLLY always comes in to get blood tests and always uses the “husband-in-recovery” story so she can get ahead of everyone. Meaning she doesn’t have a husband in recovery nor did she have an appointment.

What the cow on a stick?! Take a day off from work. Or a half day. Everyone has places they have to get to. What makes you so much more superior? If MOLLY wasn’t lying, then it wouldn’t have been as bad.

*sigh* Some of the most horrible people in the world.

Rant over. Going to read some blogs then go shopping.

Happy Friday y’all!

In just a few weeks, I’ll get to go to Portland with Mum! Meaning I’ll get to cross Oregon off my Bucket List! How exciting. Now I have to plan, plan, plan! This will be my first trip since I started working (other than the New Orleans trip for work … that obviously does not count).

Which brings me to my second thankfulness … I’ll get to see Sissy and BIL in Portland! I haven’t seen them in three to four months sooooo this is going to be amazing. I get to see lil Bruno too. Miss his face! He’s playing with one of the toys we sent him! Adorable!

Getting mail from friends. I’ve been receiving little notes, postcards, and packages. Always welcome. Makes me feel like I actually have friends that care! Pictured are rocks from Cambodia. The dark rock is from a lake called Yeak Laom which formed centuries ago from a volcano! How cool is that? The orange rock and the crystals in the jar are from the dead sea.

Family and friends, if you’re reading this, you’re always welcome to send me things. 😉

Happy Thursday y’all! Going to see some beautiful ladies in a few hours! Yay!

The Picture Keeper- It searches your computer drives, identifies image files, copies them and stores them in its memory. 8G of memory = holds about 8,000 photos.

The Picture Keeper – searches computer drives for image files and copies and stores them in the 8G of memory which holds about 8,000 photos. It would suck if I lost it though.

The Weekender Bag so I can carry my stuff when I go out of town or sleepovers. (Her outfit … I’d want that too.)

Tornado Body Dryer: Dry your entire body without a towel -- while still in your warm shower enclosure! Give me this!

And this is just a little something I found on Alex’s blog that I can resonate with. 24 Things Single People Are Tired of Hearing.

What are some of your wishes? They don’t have to be materialistic. Just how it came out this time around. 😉

Hopefully in 3-4 months I’ll be done paying back my school loans. I’ll throw myself a party to celebrate. Party of one if I have to. And possibly get my own little doggie a few months after.

Reaction people have when I tell them I’m finally watching all the Harry Potter film series. I am behind on the trend, I know. But better late then never. P.S. Last night I was watching The Goblet of Fire … I cried when Cedric died. And OMG … Doctor Who was the bad guy!

On Saturday morning, an old friend from college contacted me asking me to design a flyer for her Mum’s business since she’s seen my work from when I use to do it for FTK. I miss it. Debating if I should take part time classes for graphic design to satisfy that part of my life. Anyway, she paid me for designing 5 different flyers for her to chose from. How exciting!

Happy Tuesday loves!

Partaking in this self explanatory title. By the time some of y’all see this, it’ll be Tuesday but … oh well. My number one pick is always the same. Everyone else is just a jumble afterward.
