Their beers weren’t bad but I was done after half a beer. I feel like I’m not a big fan of beer now. Maybe my taste buds have changed.

Rizzo, Bruno, and Kato were having a GRAND time being out of their cages and into the sun with breeze. This picture, as SIL pointed out when we sent it in the group chat, said it looks as if Rizzo is laughing with Scruffy. hehe So cute!

Scruffy and I shared this and it was perfect. For the price and all the “add-ons” other places usually make you pay for already came with the burger!! We all liked that the fried egg wasn’t runny so that it wasn’t too messy … but then again, it did come with gravy.

This was pretty good. Only complaints was that the brisket had a little bit of funky flavour. Or maybe it came from the cheese — goaty like? Not too sure.

But overall all the food was delicious!

We all went home. Some took naps, others attempted to nap, while the rest played games or watched telly, or played with Emmy. Then we celebrated her first birthday. (Sorry, no pictures!) She had so much energy, laughter, and funny moments to last us a lifetime. I cannot wait for more birthdays with her.

Rizzo Sleeping On Me

Today has been a whirl. Rizzo has been sticking by me non-stop, even during nap time, afraid that I’ll leave without him. He’s been watching me pack and wanting to jump into my purse or bag, wherever he can fit. So freaking adorable.

We usually do this at home so getting to do it, all-you-can-eat, is pretty great! We were so stuffed.

Right now, I’m watching Z Storm with the parents and June, along with Rizzo, Pluto, and Krypto while Sissy, BIL, Brudda, and Scruffy are downstairs with Rocky, Bruno, and Kato playing games.

I cannot wait to see little Emmy. We got here too late so we missed saying good night to her.

I started out the day with a relaxing carwash. I use to be afraid to go into one of these myself but now, it’s my quiet soothing time.

After shopping at World Market, I headed over to Wingstop for some reading and eating time. Also my quiet soothing time. HA This location is a hoot. Though their food came out better than many other Wingstops, this one had smaller chicken pieces and the staff — at least the cash register lady — she needs to be let go. Talk too much, work too little. The cook in the back tried to tell her to stop talking and that she had a customer waiting and she just kept going on and on. Thankfully the food was seasoned perfectly at this location though.

Later, I went over to Scruffy’s. He promised me crawfish tomorrow but since our plans had changed, we decided to go tonight instead. After reading reviews, he took me to The Crawfish Man’s Boiling Point.

Everything cost extra in this place. The flavours weren’t bad, a bit on the salty side but I can live with that since it was delicious. The only complaint about the shrimp was that it was undercooked. As for the corn, they’re usually half a cob. This looked as if it was 1/4 of a cob each. I guess the potatoes made up for it though. They were both flavourless, boiled in unflavoured water. Thank goodness for garlic butter.

We were throwing away the mangled/dead crawfish until we realized just how much was going to waste. The total was about 3/4 of a pound. You’d think a place that sells crawfish will do a better job of serving crawfish. They need to go through and pick these dead/mangled ones out.

Since Scruffy wasn’t full due to the death of crawfish, we stopped by Tornado Burger so he could grab one.

He ordered the spicy burger and chili cheese fries. Everything was pretty good but I was too full to enjoy it. Scruffy said he’d come back so that should mean something.

Emmy’s 1st birthday party is coming up and I cannot wait to see that little girl’s gorgeous, laughing face. Until then, goodnight!

Guys, seriously?

I cannot even explain how big of a letdown this was.

Scruffy and I both have been wanting to try this since so many people raved about it and wanted it to be back. I was so happy they put in a sweet and sour and bbq sauce for me because I couldn’t put this in my mouth after the first try.

It’s literally fake Chinese food taste x10 but nasty. I love fake Chinese food but I cannot do this.
