When I was on my way to changing up the blog, I found this search. Who is looking this up? I really want to know. Sadly he doesn’t work there anymore. Shucks. At least I still have the picture though.

Last Friday, I went with Mallory, her parents, Janna and Mace, and Samantha to the Houston World Series Dog Show. I’ve always wanted to go but never got a chance so when Janna, mentioned it, we made it happen, Mace, wasn’t all that excited about it when we first walked in but that changed by the time we were leaving. Definitely a lot of fun. We saw dogs doing relay races called Fly Ball, and dogs that look exactly alike. Saw dogs that needed their own fans and dogs going through obstacle courses. And without fail, we got a lot of free samples. Rizzo won’t need food for a couple months!

Monday night, my friend’s show, Space City Chronicles, had Electric Sleep as guest stars. The three on top makes up the band and the one on the bottom picture on the right helps do their visuals such as lights and backdrops. They have a pretty neat set up. I asked one of the guys’ girlfriend what kind of music they make before they started and she replied, “Noise”. Either that’s a new genre or …

It’s been a bit hectic at work since I had so many days off. I always said taking off may be relaxing, but coming back gives you the stress you were trying to get away from.

Finally got to go to the studio at Houston Media Source to see two of my old high school friends in action. Ed and his friend started a public access television show and Ryan goes and helps out. And I was lucky enough to help out as well. It was the kind of fun stress I needed. Lots of laughs … on my end as usual.

I took Tuesday off … and bought a Lunchable. Jokes. But seriously haven’t had one in forever. Memories. Mum never really bought them since they’re bad for you but … something about that pizza dough. I heard they were making adult Lunchables. Hopefully it comes with an alcoholic drink instead of a juice box.

One of my work mum’s left the company today. Sad day. She gave us all a portfolio folder along with a box of Godiva chocolates and sweet note. I know I’ll see her again.

I cannot wait for this weekend to be over. Birthday celebrations are fun but I’m getting old. I just want to relax. Wow .. how lame am I …

Got to see Apurva for Happy Hour at Union Kitchen.
I wasn’t too big of a fan of their food.
I was so stressed out, I dumped some things on her.

Saturday
Played Phase10 with Mum, Sissy, and BIL.
Rizzo and Bruno slept on my legs.
My legs were sweaty since Burno is a fatty.
Timothy and Joanna came over for a little bit.
Got to catch up with Joanna about her wedding stuff! Excited!

It’s been a pretty relaxing weekend which is just what the doctor orders for me all the time.

And I’m tres tres excited for work to be over tomorrow. I get to finally go to the studio to help with my old high school friend’s production! It’s been on for 3-4 weeks now but I’ve been so busy. Cannot wait!!

I canceled my renew for this domain and have until July 16th to come up with a new one. Once that’s done, I will be letting y’all know by commenting your blogs so keep an eye out!

I had a lovely day. Took a half day, and went with Sissy and BIL to look at houses. I was dying though. It was freaking hot. Yucky Houston summers. Hoping they get a place soon so when I make my downtown drives for the studio I have a place to stay if needed.

Afterward Sammy showed me a new jingle he wrote … hoping he’ll make it longer so I can write words to it – maybe. It’s too all over the place for me to even come up with anything. Then I took a grand nap. And headed over to Painting With A Twist to meet up with Zuco and Mallory.

My finished work. I’m unhappy with the blue funnel. The dude kept telling us we needed it. I think it would of looked better without. Sigh. Never listening to anyone again!

All of our finished work. And Zuco brought me cupcakes from Crave! Good thing I didn’t get her any or else … too many cupcakes! And it’s always a great day when postcards come in the mail! I collect them and my closest friends know. I save them and hope that one day when I have my own place, I can display them along with a gigantic map on a gigantic wall. Thank you, Trisha!

Funny story … to certain people. Zuco was off in college at Texas State this year so I gave her brother, Wacko, her present for him to give her. This was back in Feburary. Today, I was talking to Wacko at work and …

Wacko: “Oh, aren’t you seeing Zuco today?”
Me: “Yeah, why?”
Wacko: “Here, you can give this to her.” *opens drawer and pulls out Zuco’s gift*

Seriously? …. never trust a guy to do anything!

Glad I took the first half of tomorrow off. That means I can sleep late!!
