I finally got to see Mallory and JJ today! It was last minute but I am so glad it all worked out! He loves his snacks and milk while watching Sesame Street.

[2018] 099/365: Going On A Walk

I was super surprised when he grabbed hold of my finger for a walk. He was super busy watching the garbage men but I’d like to think he likes me enough so that he’s willing to hold my hand and walk. This was my most cherished memory with him so far.

We bumped into Mallory’s neighbor’s kids with their grandma. The little boy had a toy truck he was cruising around in so JJ took a spin on it sat, confused at the concept to push the button to go and use the wheel to steer.

After much playing around outside with the kids, we went in for dinner. He mostly fed the dogs and ate a lot of the carbs.

Mallory was nice enough to make me dinner as well, stuffed salmon with rice pilaf. This will definitely be on my list of easy, delicious dinners.

Mickey D’s and Ulta. Back then an adult meal would not be enough to fill me up but nowadays a might kids meal is. I’ve come a long way!

Also, Ulta. I spent WAY too much for someone who is jobless. Luckily if it doesn’t work out I can bring it back so that I’m not stuck with the product.

[2018] 095/365: Getting Dolled Up

I went and tried it out after I got home. I miss putting on makeup just for the hell of it and feeling gorgeous. From far away, my face looked super flawless but closeup you can see all my flaws. Guys, don’t zoom in. I have very dry skin around certain areas of my face and super oily in others. After this, I washed my face and did a mud mask and now it’s much better so the makeup should be much better as well. I’m going to try a few more times and test it when I got out and such and see how it does.

Eeeep, I’m excited.

[2018] 094/365: Gardening

Let’s just start by saying, I did not garden. My parents are though. Now that Dad retired he has more time to tend to housework so he’s been fixing up the garden with Mum’s orders.

I, on the other hand, am busy cleaning two rooms, getting ready for Wilson and Mei Mei’s arrival. It’ll be their first time in America so we have to make it amazing for them!

This is Asianized quail. Parents buy it from some grocery store already made. They look like they are little people. Sometimes, they are legs are bent more and it looks like they are kung-fu fighting. hehe

It’s SO good. Better than chicken in my opinion. Great brain fuel for when I was getting tired from studying.

[2018] 086/365: Advanced Excel

I finished Python, started Advanced Excel and am now on SQL. I bought a Linux one to learn it was so horrible, I had to ask for a refund. Oy vey. Did I mention I have an interview coming up and I need to learn all these different ways of coding? And I don’t know anything except SQL, and even then, I need the internet for help. I’m freaking out, but I guess if I fail, at least I had a good mock interview.

P.S. Today marks two years officially with Scruffy. We aren’t able to celebrate tonight but we have something planned in the near future and I cannot wait. I’m hoping everything works out and it actually happens. Fingers crossed. Regardless, I have presents wrapped up for him already and I cannot wait for him to open them! Eeep! Happy Two Years, Hon-ay! haha
