I met Scruffy, Mallory, and JJ at Chuck E Cheese after work. Scruffy went a little crazy and ordered an extra large pepperoni and mushroom pizza. I was surprised he ate so much though.

JJ was more into watch others play games than eating his pizza this time around. He would occasionally get up and pull tickets out of the machines close to us that people forgot.

I was shocked to see that he wasn’t shy like he was the first time and even went up and gave the creepy mouse a high five!

We played some games and even got to take a group photo though JJ wasn’t too interested. On one of the games JJ didn’t wait for it to finish spitting out tickets and pulled and somehow ended up jamming the machine. We had to get assistance. Haha

[2018] 263/365: Toy Trucks

JJ was mesmerized by the toy trucks in two of the games and even asked if we could open it up so he could get them and play with them. How adorable is that?

This boy is growing up way too fast! Speaking of which … I should really start his birthday invitations.

[2018] 261/365: Suits

Today I had lunch with Scruffy and his boss at TacoDeli. They were nice enough to pick me up too! It was a very fast lunch because I don’t like being out too long (traffic after work) but it was nice getting away from the office.

I’ve been rewatching Suits and catching up the last couple seasons I missed. This show is crazy and makes you wonder how much shady shit actually happens in real life. I haven’t finished season seven and I cannot imagine how it’ll be without Markle.

[2018] 260/365: Headache Patches

I don’t have any fancy pictures today since it’s been a busy day so here is me at my current state. I’ve had a headache since after lunch and it won’t go away.

I bought these patches for Scruffy for when he had migraines but he hasn’t used any. I’ve used a box which comes with four total, two in each pack. Sadly I only need one but am not sure what to do with the other so I usually slap it on the back of my neck.

If I lay down, they stick fairly well else they kind of slide down. If I stop moving, I do feel the cooling effect. Do they totally work? I’m not sure yet. We shall see.

Rizzo and I had a great sleep … Until Rocky’s bark woke us up at two thirty in the morning. He usually sleeps in my room and he heard sounds downstairs. It was Mum. After that I couldn’t sleep until seven and woke back up at eight. Sigh …

[2018] 259/365: Sleepy Rizzo and TVB

We’ve had a super relaxing day. Mostly spent it in bed and went out for a while to walk around and buy groceries. I made chicken and egg salad for my lettuce boats this week. We’ll see how I do with these. I’m a bit excited.

[2018] 258/365: Return to Bombay

It’s been a long long time since I’ve been back here. I did do a to go order with Scruffy months ago but it feels like it’s been a year since we’ve been back here. Food still delicious as ever. I even went ahead and tried lentil crisps and fell enough. I like them more than the naan and rice! It’s like a healthier potato chip … Maybe. Also, it was a very peaceful meal since the guy owner wasn’t there. I wasn’t on edge.

I finally got to see Peyton again! It’s been months as well. I got to hold her, feed her some milk, and watched her play. I love seeing Scruffy interact with babies. It’s the cutest.
