We had Christmas on the 23rd due to the sissy having work on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

It starts out like any other Christmas.

We opened up the Scrabble and played a round of it. I won with 182 points! The next time we played, I was not so lucky.

Pluto got a new sweater!! It’s so cute!!

 

 

And I made Red Velvet Cupcakes for Jenny and Sammi.

On the 25th we all went to our Aunt’s for Christmas dinner.

I got a purple wallet from the cousins, the siblings and I got random things in a bag from another cousin, and the Uncle gave us each 20 bucks.

It was fun getting to reminisce with the cousins. I love that we grew up so close together. So many memories …

We played Outburst for Juniors. We were put into two teams. Me, Tammy, and Cousin. Brother, 2 Cousins, and Jenny.

Four against three. We won!!

Then we played Chinese Checkers. Jenny won by victory of everyone. We helped her out and she ended up being first place. Funny huh?

11.28.11 – Put on new shoes (love the sea foam green!) and tried new tea (Honest Tea). Mmm … it was a good day

12.02.11 – Read Quality of Life written by the EMBA before having to go into a conference thing with them. And made myself a pop-up bowl of popcorn.

I learned a lot at this conference. It made me feel a heck of a lot smarter too.

12.03.11 – Got the box filled with vitacost.com stuff! I got to try so many things I’ve always wanted to try. Thanks Groupon!

12.06.11 – These little devils come out of one of the food places on campus. They are the devil because they’re addicting. I’m going to stick to the cinnamon ones in the future though because the jalapeno ones are disgusting!

12.06.11 – As I was parking my car at my apartment complex, this kitty cat stuck his head out. So cute, I had to take a picture!

12.10.11 – Krispie Crème donuts Krispie Kreme donuts? Either way we got the Christmas flavors as well as regular glazed.

I did a close up shot of the snowman because it’s so cute!! Too sweet though.

12.11.11 – Jenny and I made crab rangoons by hand along with shrimp chips while Tammy studied hard for her finals. We ran out of oil and had to go and get more. Whoops.

They were a success though, but next time, we’ll know not to make that many.

12.12.11 – Tammy sent me a picture of Pluto while I was hard studying for my finals. Ain’t he a cutie? She was already done and had gone home for the break. I was super jealous since my finals haven’t even started!

12.12.11 – Tammy helped Jenny marinate the chicken drumsticks before she left so we had some of that and rice. Jenny snacked on some leftover crab rangoons as well. Delicious.

12.13.11 – I took Jenny to Just Brakes so she could fix her car. When we went to pick up her car and go back home, we were stopped at the light and I saw this lil dealio. I called Jenny and told her to look on the left of us. “Oo Yea”.

12.14.11 – Finally tried out the Vegtarian Chili. Only thing you need to add is a can of beans and a can of tomatoes. I am not one to follow directions so I added some ground turkey, kidney beans, and black beans.

We also made some mashed potatoes. As you can see on the right I used a taco shell and put some mashed potatoes on the side of the walls of the taco and some chili in the middle.

So delicious! I am going to get this again!! With the mashed potatoes, it tasted like Shephard’s Pie!

12.15.11 – Had my first Annie’s Macaroni and Cheese. I’m not a fan of Macaroni and Cheese but it came out pretty good.

Note to self: Be patient when pouring out the water. There is water in the holes of the macaroni.

12.16.11 – My friend, Maira, and her dad and stepmum was having a Christmas Party and invited me. I went with Travis (my next door neighbor, brother bear, etc. and Maira’s boyfriend). They had DELECTABLE foods!

Queso, tortilla chips, quesadillas, tamales, taquitos. They had so many desserts as well. Yum! I obviously went for seconds. Bad idea?

On the very right I took out my feather during the party. It was bugging me so it had to go. Needless to say, I lost some hair in the process.

I think we’re all caught up now. Whoo .. long.

I hope everyone’s having a good winter break for those of us that have it. For everyone else working, we love you.

I went to the Holocaust Museum on November 30th. I learned a lot.

A survivor of the Holocaust came and talked to us. I feel real blessed to have heard her story, thanks to her son. Her son had cancer and just before he passed away, he begged his mum to write and tell her story so that their future grandchildren will remember it.

It was a small museum but VERY educational. That’s what they wore when they were imprisoned in the camps.

We were told we could go out on the balcony to check out two sculputres. My friend Andy here thought this was the door to go.

He was wrong. Locked to the maxx. It’s just a funny picture/memory.

I’m not too sure what the one on the left is a sculpture of but the one on the right is a lady behind the barbed wire and she sees a butterfly on the outside. The butterfly is in color signifying freedom. It’s a really good piece.

I’m thankful for having a chance to come here and learning so much.

Then we went to Habanero’s. That’s a lot of burritos … but it wasn’t all of it. We had the Leadership Challenge class from college as well as high school. Mmm so yummy! There was also queso and chips on the table.

All free.

These pills, Rhodiola 110, that I said I took last night … they really work.

There is Vitamin C, some kind of root, Greet Tea Extract, and spinach and whatnot in them.

I popped one in and worked for two hours without stopping. So boosted my mental and physical performance!

I got a lot of work done.

Right now I’m studying for more Finance, popped one in and got a lot of work done.

It feels good.

Let’s just hope I get a good grade on this final.

I cannot wait for 10am. That is when I’ll be done with finals! (Unless I finish earlier.)

My plan was to go to Dallas for my cousin, Joanna’s, graduation ceremony. But it starts at 4pm. 5 hour drive? Yep. Either I end up making it RIGHT on time, or I don’t make it at all. So why bother …

So I’m thinking a 5 hour nap instead.

But I doubt it. We shall see.

I only have one more final I have to study for: Finance.

Dreaded.

It’s on Friday. Way to end the week right?

Anyway, I started getting the munchies so I put my puffed rice cereal, milk, chia seeds, and cacao powder together.

Mistake. Cacao powder is kind of yucky. I resulted in throwing it away.

Like how I photoshopped words in? Yep … it was that gross.

Now I’m not so hungry.

But I still have to study.

Jenny’s mum gave me some pills, Rhodiola 110, that is suppose “To help maximize mental and physical performance …”

So Katrina took one … and I am about to, too.

Hopefully it works!
