Dinner Parties

February 9, 2012 by Mellie Dee 1 Comment

My Guitar Professor moved our test to Friday. Which is also the day I’m having my first Vocal Solo. Which I have practiced neither. Whoops.

I should drop out of school. I’m behind in almost every class. Wonderful. Haven’t read my case that we are going over tomorrow in class. Haven’t finished coding two of my projects. Whoops.

The only things I enjoy right now are FTK, FSA, and family and friends. Everything else is just bleugh. I think I’m feeling sad because I know I’ll be leaving all this wonderfulness.

Stop thinking, Melissa. Happy thoughts only.

I had a Dinner Party at my place tonight. Spur of the moment craziness. But I think everything went well at the end. I had fun and hopefully they did too. No pictures though. I love these people. No doubt. We added more people to the group for next time and I’m a little iffy about it because some people just annoy me easily.

Andrew C. is probably reading this right now. He has damn good memory. Tonight he recited some things I’ve written. Which is scary to me. Does that mean I have to watch what I say? Shiet.

This weekend will hopefully be catch-up-with-school-weekend since no one will probably hang out with me because they are all busy. Sad life.

Broke

February 6, 2012 by Mellie Dee 4 Comments

My only class of the day got canceled. I pretty much went to school lugging my guitar around for 30 minutes to use the internet.

To make myself productive, I went grocery shopping.

And spent $103.Crying face

Maybe morning grocery trips are not a good thing for me.

It’s mostly healthy foods though so in a way it’s okay? No? Aw, okay.

No spending money for a while.Confused smile

This Wednesday’s dinner party better taste damn good.

Currently snacking on Blue Corn Tortilla Chips with Black Bean and Corn Salsa. YUM! Smile

Cannot wait for my soccer and basketball games tonight! Whoop!

Hope your Monday is going well!!!!

Superbowl Sunday

February 6, 2012 by Mellie Dee Leave a Comment

Disa-freaking-ppointing! Patriots lost. Close game though. Eli Manning’s better looking than Tom Brady in my opinion … but I’m not one who switches teams because of what they look like … like all the other girls I know!

I’m not like everyone else. I don’t really care about the commercials. I watch the Superbowl for the Superbowl. The halftime show was boring to me as well. For some reason, I hated it. Other than the cool graphics on the floor, everything else was just bunk. I was happy it was over and the game was back on.

It was fun hanging out with some friends at their apartment watching the game. It was nice getting to know them more outside of FTK. One of them kept mentioning my leaving San Antonio once I graduate. I wish I never have to leave these wonderful people. Can I not grow up, please?

One of their Mum’s made food! It was so delicious!! Smile

I am stuffed! Even though I only ate a little. I always get fuller faster when I do active things. Weird. Everyone else I know gets hungrier.

Happy Monday everyone! Open-mouthed smile

Football

February 5, 2012 by Mellie Dee Leave a Comment

~40 degree weather.

Then rain starts to pour.

We had football practice for hours that way.

It was fun.

It’s been almost an hour and I’m still freezing cold and numb.

I love football.

I miss football.

I am so excited.

It’s going down.

Speaking of football … Superbowl almost here! AHHH! Smile

Trust

During Leadership Challenge, my friend, Eli, said that I have a gift of being the tough girl (hopefully not the manly type) and still have such an emotional side. That people come to me to talk to me about their problems and thoughts – the psychiatrist. I wonder why that is …

I would not have interaction to some people for a while but when shiet goes wrong for them, they come to me and we talk like we’ve never stopped. And when I say a while, I mean years. I wonder why that is …

I cannot fully trust anyone with my problems. I feel like a burden. That my problems will never be as big. That I know in the end, I can fix it or at least tolerate it.

So I wonder. I wonder why I was given this gift …
