Our boss’s boss was giving away Easter candy while someone else was hiding Easter eggs everywhere. We got a little bit of work done since everyone was practically looking forward to what was coming up.
Work hired a company for an all-you-can-eat crawfish boil at a park, alcohol included along with a koozie. We were told not to go back to the office. Crawfish, shrimp, potatoes, corn, sausage, and mushrooms … all for free! They kept coming out from 12 pm to 3 pm.
Excuse my messy hair. The wind was wild. I hope this picture does it justice. They were all pretty much gigantic with big juicy claws and cooked to perfection.
As people were finishing we started getting into groups to chat. I was lucky Rose brought Andrew over! I haven’t seen him since 2011! Amy took a chance on me and Andrew signed off on it back in 2007. If it wasn’t for him believing in me when I graduated out of high school, I wouldn’t be where I am today. My first boss. Forever grateful.
We went our separate ways and then later met at Erin’s. We, along with John and Christopher, went to Momentum for some bouldering. They were having a deal where they could bring a buddy everyday in April. I only had to pay for the shoes, less than $7.
I feel like I did better when I came in December but I will say I did more challenging ones this time around but I also came back with more bruises. This also made me realize how much I’m lacking upper body strength.
