Richard came into town to visit Jenny yesterday so we woke up and decided to try out Kumori Sushi & Teppanyaki. The atmosphere was really peaceful with simple decorations. Their giant windows were enough to bring just the right amount of lighting into the restaurant giving it a romantic ambiance with dim lighting and light music playing in the background.
A fancy name for seaweed salad and for the cost, I’d say it’s worth it. They pile it on and Jenny wanted more when it was gone.
The hot sauce was the best out of the bunch. It was a hint of sweet and spicy mixed together.
This was my favorite out of everything I ate. It’s pretty expensive but I would probably need to order fifteen to get full but I would so go back to get just this! Oh, if it counts for anything, Richard said it’s his favorite too. You can see Richard is already trying to cut through the jalapeno. Jenny kept saying it was too spicy so Richard had to finish it up. End result, not worth it. A regular Philadelphia roll … fried. I thought this was pretty good and it’s cute how the sauce makes it look like a zebra print. Much better than the Fried Philly Roll. This was so worth the price. So much fish in one bite and the Masago makes it that much better. I would eat Masago by the bowl if I could. Richard seemed to like this the best. I was too full to eat anymore so I didn’t get to try it.This was a real sushi experience. Usually, when I get sushi I get a bento box or a sushi boat. This was something different and it was perfect. After this we went to watch The Green Hornet. I suggest you make it to the theater. It’s a funny movie.
