For lunch we went to Tom+Chee. We’ve all been wanting to try this place since it opened up but I’ve always tried to stay away from it due to the price and what they serve.

[2018] 020/365: Simple, Expensive Meal

We were right. Although it was nice, I’d rather spend my ten dollars for a better meal. Other than that everything did taste scrumptious.

Last night we were so busy playing board games, Scruffy and I didn’t get to watch much of Game of Thrones so we’re back at it again since Sissy and BIL left. I did get a quick workout in and that’s all that matters.

Man, stop eating well has become eat well always. Haha

Sissy and BIL came over tonight for dinner of Korean BBQ. We had way too much food, per usual. I believe if my parents were here though it would have been a perfect amount.

We’re currently playing board games and will probably call it a night soon.

To Game of Thrones or to sleep? Hmm…

[2018] 018/365: Wagyu Dinner

Scruffy and I came across this at the Korean market and snagged a pack of sliced Wagyu. It’s obviously nothing compared to Theodore Rex but it was still dang good. It’s funny because we just had a quick chat yesterday about how we should not eat such good foods all the time.

Slab of Ice

The ice is starting to melt which is a good thing. It means not having to pump the tires before going somewhere due to tire pressure issues. It means not slipping on ice when Luna drags me on her leash. haha Yep, that happened yesterday. I still love it though because it means less people on the road and more people with their loves.

Kirin Light and Sake

While we were at the market picking things up for tomorrow’s dinner party we came across sake sooooo it was only natural, right?

It was such a spectacular dinner. I wished we got the Wagyu steaks. Man, that would be amazing.

[2018] 017/365: Comfy Pups

Brrr … I am rarely cold and I’ve been freezing my bootay off! I’d take this weather over the heat though. I just washed some of my blankets and I am excited to get them out of the dryer soon.

Ever since Rizzo turned two or so he stopped sleeping in my lap when I sit in chairs. These past few days he’s been begging to sleep in my lap if I’m sitting in a chair or whatnot. Must be the cold weather and wanting my heat. Poor boy. I wonder if he’ll want to wear his sweater now. Hmm …

Shrimp Boil For Days

The best dinners are Shrimp, Sausage, and Vegetable Boils. Well, that’s a lie. If crawfish was thrown in, I’d love that ten bajillion times more.

Guess what Scruffy and I are off doing?

You guessed it. We’re finally on Season 4 of Game of Thrones! Eeeeep!

Winter Is Coming!!!!

Hahahaha Sorry about that. Scruffy and I have been binge watching Game of Thrones. We’re only on Season 3 – yeah, yeah we’re behind – so please, don’t ruin it for us!! Scruffy and I are cheering on Daenerys Targaryen cuz … dragons.

[2018] 016/365: Winter Is Coming To Houston

Everyone knows Houston weather is unpredictable. Yesterday was a very nice day where we were able to take Luna and Rizzo to the park. Today, the pups were walking on snowy ice! That picture is the windshield and hood of my car. I loveeeee this weather! It meant more time with Scruffy since he didn’t have to go in today.

We met Andrew up for lunch. One of the only places opened, Sakura Asian Bistro. Scruffy and I shared this meal together since we weren’t too hungry. It wasn’t the very best but wasn’t horrible where we wouldn’t come back again.

Snowy Grass and Cowboy Boots

Next door was a Starbucks and Scruffy was nice enough to drive-thru and get me a nice, hot cup of Chai Tea Latte. And because of that, I was able to get that shot with the snow! #basicbiyah

I’m quite excited to see how tomorrow will be since schools are all canceled! Eeep! Probably more stores and restaurants will be closed and Scruffy will be stuck here forever. hehe

Back to snuggling up to my beau with the pups by our side as we continue to binge on GOT!
