[2018] 025/365: Kimchi Soup With A Side Of Chinese Soaps
My favourite is getting to watch a show while I eat a meal. I don’t get a lot of those with Scruffy since we sit and eat without distractions like civilized people. Haha
Scruffy and I ended up eating horribly tonight. We didn’t finish everything though but knowing I ate this makes me feel so horrible inside. Tomorrow is a new day though.
Had some mother-daughter time today at lunch after taking her to her post-op appointment. We went to Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen and she enjoyed the Honey Butter Croissants so much she ordered another to go to share with her co-workers.
[2018] 024/365: Milk Tea Couple
Tonight, I cooked Kimchi Soup for Scruffy’s family. I’m still uncertain how they feel about it but there was less than I though leftover so it should be a good sign, eh? After, we stopped by OG Tea for me to grab a Milk Tea to go before heading over to Andrew’s. We’re currently chilling and I’m hoping we get to have some Game of Thrones in later tonight when we get back to the house.

[2018] 023/365: Coffeeshop Breakfast
It’s been quite a lazy, wonderful day.
I went to Pura Coffee this morning to do some work but this place was a bummer. Not enough tables and they covered up all the outlets where the tables are to force customers to leave since many will probably sit and work after ordering one coffee or something. And it was one of the loudest coffeeshops I’ve been in. A lady in the corner talking loudly on her phone, a group of ladies laughing loudly, constantly.
I will give them props for their Blueberry Matcha Latte because that was bomb. I would have ordered another after finishing in half an hour but they obviously don’t want you to stay with the way they set up their cafe. Yelp says it’s good for working but I would have to disagree. I would come here again for a to go order of that delicious latte though.
I packed up before my laptop was about to die and headed over to HMart mostly to buy Scruffy his now favourite shrimp chips. I went ahead and picked up some groceries as well and hope to make his parents dinner sometime this week. Eeep!
Other than that, it’s been cuddle with Rizzo, job search, and a whole lot of nothing else. Hopefully, tomorrow is more eventful.
[2018] 022/365: Rockets Win!

I enjoyed a cup of Yogi Energy Tea while working on my blog stuff and recipes. Scruffy hung out with BIL until Sissy came home from work.
It was a pretty last minute decision to go to the Rockets vs Heat game but I was excited we were going since it was the Mix & Match event.
We got to choose between a t-shirt, poster, or koozie. We all got t-shirts of course!
For the drinks: beer, water, or soda and for the food: popcorn or hot dog. We both got beers and one of each food group.
It was a nailbiter throughout the whole game but we persevered and won at the end!
Scruffy and I ordered Uber Eats delivery from The Halal Guys. Mmmm, delicious. We’re going to scarf this down and watch Game of Thrones. Yay!!
