I canceled my renew for this domain and have until July 16th to come up with a new one. Once that’s done, I will be letting y’all know by commenting your blogs so keep an eye out!
I had a lovely day. Took a half day, and went with Sissy and BIL to look at houses. I was dying though. It was freaking hot. Yucky Houston summers. Hoping they get a place soon so when I make my downtown drives for the studio I have a place to stay if needed.
Afterward Sammy showed me a new jingle he wrote … hoping he’ll make it longer so I can write words to it – maybe. It’s too all over the place for me to even come up with anything. Then I took a grand nap. And headed over to Painting With A Twist to meet up with Zuco and Mallory.
My finished work. I’m unhappy with the blue funnel. The dude kept telling us we needed it. I think it would of looked better without. Sigh. Never listening to anyone again!
All of our finished work. And Zuco brought me cupcakes from Crave! Good thing I didn’t get her any or else … too many cupcakes! And it’s always a great day when postcards come in the mail! I collect them and my closest friends know. I save them and hope that one day when I have my own place, I can display them along with a gigantic map on a gigantic wall. Thank you, Trisha!
Funny story … to certain people. Zuco was off in college at Texas State this year so I gave her brother, Wacko, her present for him to give her. This was back in Feburary. Today, I was talking to Wacko at work and …
Wacko: “Oh, aren’t you seeing Zuco today?”
Me: “Yeah, why?”
Wacko: “Here, you can give this to her.” *opens drawer and pulls out Zuco’s gift*
Seriously? …. never trust a guy to do anything!
Glad I took the first half of tomorrow off. That means I can sleep late!!
