My work had a crawfish boil today. They blocked out 12-4pm for us so we could enjoy crawfish, burgers, and whatnot. We drove to a park where they hired people to cook for us. Look at that giant pot hitched to the back of a truck. That’s how we do it in Texas …

Pile of critters. It was great getting to mingle with people outside of my team and talk to those that we work with but rarely see. When 1:30pm hit, everyone was practically done. Bossman told us to get the eff out and don’t return to the office. Um … ksweet.

Zuco and I had plans to go shopping but being able to go earlier and get done earlier … score! Look at all her bags of goodies!!

Plus on top of all that, I got a call from the lovely Samantha who I haven’t seen in a while. She wanted to tell me she found an apartment with an extra room aka the study. Pretty much saying I have a place to stay if I ever want to just get away from home or sleepover. Great friend who thinks about me. Love her to death.

Sorry for the jumbled mess of a blog post. I have to get ready for my Skype date with the lovely Patricia and hopefully Gary and Shayna.

This much I know is true … mani/pedi’s are relaxing … if the people who work on you make you relaxed. First time at Fashion Nails with sissy and well … it could of gone better.

This much I know is true … having a Sissy is great. Especially when they pay for you. Puahaha. Can you guess which hand belongs to which one of us?

This much I know is true … Rocky and Bruno love to play tug-a-war. And growl. And play fight. So loudly.

This much I know is true … I get Bruno for a week … but his heart belongs somewhere else. Patiently waiting for his owner to come back.

Today was definitely 20x better. Let’s hope the rest of the week goes swimmingly.

It’s Monday … and everyone knows what a shitty day Monday can be. You know that Jackie Chan Adventures show that use to be on? It seems I’m channeling that today. “Bad Day, Bad Day.”

Oy vey. I tend to keep things positive because I don’t like being all Negative Nancy and I rarely talk bad about work if ever but it really got to me today.

I cannot take it when bosses play favorites.

The kind of music I listen to when I’m unhappy. Sad songs. ha Anyone else use Songza? It’s pretty sweet. I have it on my Android. Loveeeee it!

Receiving this right after work couldn’t have come on a better day. Thank you for friends like these. I won’t be able to make it to her graduations but fingers crossed I can go to her party whenever she’s making it. Yeah yuhh! She is so smart. Look at everything she’s graduating with!!

Hopefully the rest of this week will be better. Fingers crossed. (Should be since Bruno is staying for a week!!) There’s always a bad day out of the week, eh?

The day after I told y’all it felt like 90 degrees, it stormed for practically the whole day.
Flooded my city.
The little cars couldn’t get through so I was stuck in traffic for 2 hours.
Thank goodness for my SUV.

June bought 30+ lbs of crawfish. Score.
So freaking good. I liked the leftovers better the next day.
The flavors just infuse better. Yum!

Best title ever … I know. I am sweating. TMI? Sorry. The weather is getting ridiculous. What is this 81 degree weather that feels like it’s 90? I have a black car so it doesn’t help matters. *sigh* I think I need to move up north.

Ironically, this is what I’m doing … Y’all must be getting sick of this scene but I am in heaven. I feel weird coming here 4th week in a row. They must think I’m a creeper. But … I have a Groupon.
