Much Needed Thursday Night

It’s been a very stressful couple of weeks. But getting this from Bossman made it a little better. And the people around me … thank you listening.

Samantha came and picked me up and we met up with Mallory at:

Samantha’s a teacher so she picked one that had an apple so she can put pens/pencils in. Mallory chose a skull. She LOVES skulls! I chose a t-shirt. Inside I can fill it with my makeup brushes. I love the way they all came out and I hope we can go again! I love doing stuff like this!

Afterward we walked over to Time Square to play bowling. Free game and pizza!! Yay!! We bought everything else. My stomach now feels bleugh from all the greasy foods.

Weekend is here and I wouldn’t want it to start any other way. I had so much fun. Love them so much! Happy Friday tomorrow guys! We made it!

Reminder To Self

A reminder to myself to suck it up and stop being angry at someone else’s actions towards me. They were obviously taught with rude manners. As long as I still act professional and nice, she has nothing on me.

With that being said, I’m excited for tomorrow night when my weekend starts and I get to see my girls. They always know how to make me happy. Love them to death.

That’s also a reminder to myself that I have other people in my life that treat me with respect. One person should not get to me. One of my all-time favorite quote:

Need to remember that. Nothing is worth getting angry over because they’ll win.

Getting Fatter

I’ve been M.I.A. and I’m not sorry. Family came and I’d rather spend it with them since I never see them. You’ll be able to see what we did down below which is mostly eating. Bah …

TUESDAY:

Lunch with contractor company at the Omni Hotel. YUM!

Happy hour after work with Mallory, Stephen, Samantha and a nice reunion with Judith. It’s been forever but it was nice seeing her.

WEDNESDAY:

OOIAJ for breakfast can never go wrong.

At work. Our playground. Taking a break from working on our presentation that will be on this upcoming Wednesday. Eeks.

THURSDAY:

Mary Kay party with Mallory, Judith, Maggie, Mallory’s sister and mum, and her friend from soccer. I bought a few things that ended up being in the 80s. Whoops. Hopefully it’s worth it. Never thought I’d feel like a grownup until I bought expensive crap.

The question asked what kind of eyes I have … and Asian was a choice. Too funny. And might be a little racist …

Went with brother and Tammy, and met up with Jenny and her new beau.

It wasn’t bad. But I wouldn’t get this again.

It’s popped to order and Jenny and I were very excited for this … but when we ate a bite we wanted to throw up. Campari is apparently a type of liquor and once you it it you feel your taste buds turn bitter. Bleugh! Brother threw some limes on there and it helped.

Holy yum … get this whenever you land in anvil. So good. I wish there was more than 3 mini tacos on the plate though.

This place is unique with the way they make their drinks. So many different kinds. I really liked the Montebello (?) Tammy got … I would definitely get that instead next time!

Boudin, fries, crabs, crawfish, oysters … and so much more. It’s like Boiling Crab but better. Next time I’m getting two pounds of crawfish and boudin. Oh my boudin. They have happy hour in where their crawfish is a dollar off a pound. So amazing. I hope not many people find out about it because I love that it wasn’t packed!

After this we watched The Internship. Such a good funny movie. Go watch it if you haven’t.

SATURDAY:

Went shopping at the outlet for forever and spent over $80 … whoops.

Came home and had Korean BBQ as celebration for Father’s Day. Mmm …

Oreo Cake … too good.

Played The Game of Things with brother, Tammy, and Jenny and her beau came over. Too much laughter. Love this game. We stayed up til 2am playing. We are ridiculous.

This place is better than Genghis Grill … in they give you more noodles/rice than GG. Won my heart. I want to go back already.

Brother, Tammy, and Jenny went back to Dallas along with Pluto and Krypto. Now I’m all alone.

Sad life. But love the time I had with them. We ate so much but now that everyone’s gone I’m able to stop eating out as much.

You’ll never guess where I am … or maybe you will. Cloud Cafe-ing it up on a Monday is a little different for my schedule but Tammy needed to study so I figured I should come with her. Valid reason …

Sadly there are some teenage kids here playing video games and being super loud and obnoxiously making out once in a while. Grossssssss. And one of them even spilled their whole drink.

Sissy, BIL, and Bruno leave for Oregon tomorrow for their travel nursing job. Eeeps. The house is going to be a little quieter than usual. But at least I’ll still have brother, Tammy, Pluto, and Krypto. Whoa … that’s a mouthful.

I’ve gotten to hang out with my siblings and their significant others all weekend and I love it. But for the reason why we are all together isn’t so great.

Yan-Yan, cousins’ grandma passed away June 1st. We weren’t close but she was there as we grew up and gave us advice whenever we were over at their house. Reading my cousins’ thoughts about their grandma reminds me of the times I had with her. I never knew how much she really did for her family until I read a summary of her life. We know she’s in a better place now. She’s not in anymore pain due to breaking her hip. Nor is she scared anymore due to Alzheimer’s. Rest in peace, Yan-Yan.

Tammy Filled Morning

It’s been a busy morning. 4 dogs at the butt crack of waking up … barks galore. *sigh* It also didn’t help upon leaving the house that our window repair guys came … therefore more barking. Oyyy veyy.

Tammy and I got ready and got our nails done. You like? We promise the coral-y color is different. Mine is more pink. Tammy’s is more orange! But it obviously doesn’t look that way.

We also got a Groupon for 59 Diner! And this is only one meal … Yikes! And Tammy’s plate was filled with food as well. Cheap. Delicious. Filling.

I finally got Vine. As of now, you can probably find me as Cripple15 since I didn’t put my name. Do you like it? It’s my first video! And if you don’t like it … well then. Friendship is over.

Our plans are to stay here so she could study for a few more then head back home and hang out with brother, Sissy, and BIL. Love these days.
