Can you believe half the year is already over?! Eeeeeeep! With that being said, new year resolutions aren’t going well as planned. Time to get back on track.

I’ve had my July workout schedule planned and have backups in case I can’t follow through with a longer workout. 21 days is the time it usually takes for your brain to get use to routine. Let’s get it dowwwwwn.

To help me with that, I’ve been searching for a new planner. I’m late but hopefully it’ll be okay. Researching has been done but it’s still up in the air. Should I drop down a billion bucks on an Erin Calderon Planner or a half a billion bucks on a Planner Pad? I could always go on Etsy and print off my own and put it into a small binder … but I like color and that would result me into buying a color printer. Then there’s the Uncalendar and the momAgenda. *sigh* Choices. Choices. My brain is going crazy.

I’ve been using my Google Calendar but I miss having the pages in my hand. I want to be able to touch it. Have more room to write random crap in. The organizer in me wants to see everything laid out in front of me. Sometimes I wish I was still in school so that I can have a busy looking planner. Weirdo alert. I know. Maybe I will go back to school one day. Hmm …

I got to see Shayna tonight at The Yogurt Spot. She was visiting her husband in Florida and was making her way back home in Austin and got to stop by my place so we could catch up. Great surprise and end of a long work day. Thank you overtime!

Two more days of work until my four day weekend. Bring it!

Much needed, relaxing weekend. I did nothing but hang out with family which sometimes is needed. We went shopping at the outlet where I only bought a top from The Loft for only $7! And we watched Pitch Perfect and Safe Haven. For me the billionth time but they’re both such good movies. *sigh*

I’ve been busy going through the big stack of magazines that’s been sitting on the corner of my desk for months. Whenever I want to save a recipe or article, I try to see if I can find it online, else I’ll take a picture of it and whatnot to keep … forever … until the internet dies. Or something. Thank you, Evernote.

Sissy got into a car accident yesterday and totaled her car. From the story she told me, it’s a miracle she walked away without a scratch. She pretty much got t-boned and she flipped and slid upside down all the way down the street. M-I-R-A-C-L-E. Glad she’s okay. That’s all that matters.

If she was in Houston right now, she would love eating the few dark chocolate covered graham crackers I made. YUM. Wish I had better brand of graham crackers and dark chocolate though. They definitely make a big difference.

Back to my relaxing rest of the weekend. Then I’ll have 3 days of work and a 4 day weekend to follow. Cannot wait! Yippee!

Seriously.

It’s been a long week.

On Wednesday I went to a painting class with Mallory and Samantha. I’m not a fan of my artwork this time around so … no pictures. Maybe one day. Maybe I’ll fix it up first or something. We’ll see.

It’s time to just relax and do NOTHING. *sigh*

So … I’ve been feeling bleugh lately … hence the no blogging. Welps. But I have been keeping up with other people’s blog the best I can. Has to mean something, right?

On Friday I went and gave blood with Mallory. Always love hanging out with this chica and doing something for others makes it that much better.

Went and saw Sarah, my cousin, dance as a professional for the first time. This particular one was called Bosk which was based on a true story. It had bunnies and doers and alligators and such. Of course they were dressed up and not the actual kind. It was kind of the theatrical weird dance but I enjoyed it.

Saturday I figured out how many magazines I have to go through. Oy vey. Not even 1/4th done.

I promised a little girl, Rose’s daughter, Karen, I was going to teach her how to bake cupcakes. I got a free bagel sandwich out of it. YUM! Looks gross but it was so delicious. Bagel Cafe … now that I know you, you’re never leaving me!

Karen gave me this. So smart making a heart out of the pipe cleaner!

Finished product. We omitted the sour cream so the frosting wasn’t as creamy … but it made it taste more like dark chocolate. Some people liked it like that. Guess to all their own. Or whatever the saying is. I took the majority to Oslvado’s birthday celebration. Win. Win.

 

We ate at Chili’s and partied at a club afterward. This is the only picture I liked of myself out of all the ones I had on my phone. Hopefully Ann doesn’t mind her being on the blog. Whooooops.

It’s been a very stressful couple of weeks. But getting this from Bossman made it a little better. And the people around me … thank you listening.

Samantha’s a teacher so she picked one that had an apple so she can put pens/pencils in. Mallory chose a skull. She LOVES skulls! I chose a t-shirt. Inside I can fill it with my makeup brushes. I love the way they all came out and I hope we can go again! I love doing stuff like this!

Afterward we walked over to Time Square to play bowling. Free game and pizza!! Yay!! We bought everything else. My stomach now feels bleugh from all the greasy foods.

Weekend is here and I wouldn’t want it to start any other way. I had so much fun. Love them so much! Happy Friday tomorrow guys! We made it!
