I woke up at 11:38 am and Samantha was to pick me up at 12 pm. Let me just say I hauled ass to let Rizzo out, showered, put on make up, brush my teeth, changed all before she arrived. BOSS!

We went to our 12:30 pm appointment to try on the F15603 dress.Samantha and I didn’t look perfect in it but we tried on a different dress with the correct spa color to see how it looked on our skin. Sent all the pictures to Mallory and she changed her mind! She decided to let us pick the dress we like the most as long as it was chiffon, short, and spa. Therefore, Samantha picked a halter dress where I picked the one shoulder. Both less than the original pick. Now I just have to work out my arms more than usual because that shiet ain’t pretty.

We went and picked up Mallory to go shoe shopping. Mallory showed me some choices of lingerie she liked which are the ones i was going to get her anyway. Baby dolls! Then went to Loft and Yankee candle. Picked up John for dinner at 49ers or whatever it’s called. My burger was huge and they give you so many curly fries with a drink all for $12. Worth it? Probably not.

I went home and shopped online spending $145 at Loft. I think I ended up with like 3 jeans, 2 yoga pants, and 2 tops. Hoping everything fits and it’s worth the money!

I set up my Fitbit Force … FINALLY! But had to charge it so when I went to workout, it didn’t count. I only wore it to bed. I’m excited to text this baby out. I’m not sure how well it will be but it’s better than nothing. I was told it isn’t waterproof so no showering or swimming with it. Sucks but maybe a newer one in the far future will fix that issue. But it’s sweat proof and that’s all I can ask for right now.

Rizzo can’t even take a good poopin’ because the wind blows him over before he’s finished. *sigh* I love the cold but the wind and the rain isn’t helping matters.

Anyway, Thankful Thursday was needed.

Thankful for Rizzo. He makes me happier. A handful, yes, but having him “love” me unconditionally, having someone to come home to, best feeling. Plus he has such hilarious moments. Single forever. Dog lady right hurr.

Thankful and honored to be a bridesmaid for Mallory’s & John’s Wedding in May. Especially because this pushes me to workout harder which I need.

Thankful for Coconut Oil. Hydrating my face and helping my eczema as well. Hoping my eczema will heel by the time of the wedding. Here’s to wishing.

I got a text this morning saying that my blog needed some love. That’s how bad I am at this lately.

I’ve started writing more in my handwritten journal. That’s probably the reason for the lack of writing in this one. Plus all I want to do now is cuddle with my little RizzyRoo. I’ve become one of those people.

Oh, and I need a new blog reading platform. Bloglovin’ has been frustrating. When I go to click on “Read All Posts” for the section, it does it for the whole thing. *sigh* Now I have to figure out what I’ve read and haven’t read which is getting hard to do.

Here’s an update on life thus far.

Pluto with the Asus. It’s been working pretty well for me. It’s not fast like the newer models but it works for what I need it for which is pretty much game playing, Netflix, G-chat. You know, the social media type things.

My rock collection ’’is growing. I currently have 11 rocks total! Yay! Majority was given to me by one of my bosses, Steve.

P.S. I also collect Postcards so if you ever want to send me one or bring back a souvenir … that’s all I need.

Speaking of work, here’s one of the views. We’re getting a putt putt on top of one of buildings. So … no work will get done. haha Then there’s a big “river” that runs through it. So fancy.

Work has been going fairly well. I’ve been a part of some meetings that are helping building something that will help the future of our company. That’s always a great feeling. Endless meetings, long conversations, missed lunches. But it’s worth it.

I am officially a bridesmaid which I am honored to be! Oh, and I finished the Save the Dates. Hoping they print well. That’s the only thing I’m worried about. Fingers crossed!!

I got Rizzo a thermal kitty bed since he shivers a lot from the cold. Pluto loves it too. He got mad when Rizzo wanted to get in …

Brother took us all out to Taste of Texas as our Christmas present yesterday. Mmm … so good. So expensive. And it tasted even better this morning. Yes. Leftover steak for breakfast.

As you can tell, life has been busy. A once a week post, I will try. But reading blogs .. I need to get back on it.

Made my last payment for my six school loans! Took me a year and a month! Debt free!!

Celebrated by Hot Pot! Now I just want to buy every thing. Yikes!

January 5th

Got to see Leah M. when she came into town to visit Mallory and John! This makes it the 3rd time we’ve met/seen each other. Weird how you can still talk to someone like they never left when you just met them!

Ordered an Asus Transformer Pad! It’s a cheap tablet so hopefully it holds up!

January 7th

Taste of Texas to say goodbye to Andrew D. & Carla A. who are moving to Seattle. And to Christopher D. who’s moving to Hawaii. I probably won’t ever see them again so I made an effort to go no matter how gross I felt from a long day at work. You can totally see it in the picture. Can’t believe I’m putting it online …

January 8th

When everyone’s ideas come together and become something that will help the future of your company. Work high! And it didn’t stop there. Worked on Mallory & John’s “Save the Dates” and didn’t even realize the time! When you’re having fun, time sure flies!

January 9th

My tablet arrived! But am waiting it to charge before I play with it! So excited! Also took Rizzo to Mallory’s house. Mallory & John got a new puppy, Lacy, and we wanted them to be best friends! Samantha was there as well and we all ate dinner and watched reality telly together while the pups played. Rizzo is knocked out now. Thanks, Lacy!\

Now it’s time for me to unwind and sleep.
