Work, blood test, leftovers for lunch, a nap and some random shows later Scruffy and I were cooking dinner for ourselves and June. Homemade Pastor and Shrimp tacos. Yum!

[2018] 236/365: Me Time = Mask Time

Scruffy is playing FIFA with Blake so I’m having some me time. Mud Mask and a Netflix movie, Like Father with Kristen Bell and Kelsey Grammer.

It’s been a long time since I’ve done a mask by myself so it feels super refreshing. Time to wash this off, finish off with my skincare routine and finish the movie.

Caldo de Res

I’ve been on a Caldo de Res kick. Delicious! I finished the whole entire thing and felt gross afterward. I thought I’d fall into a food coma but luckily, and not so luckily, I became super busy at work so that kept me going.

Audiobooks on Speed

[2018] 234/365: Audiobooks on Speed

If you know me you know I love to listen to books when I am busy, i.e. driving and working.

I’ve always used Overdrive, borrowing books from the library, but they started moving towards Libby.

I just discovered that you can speed up the reading up to 2x faster than normal! I’m good at the 1.75x speed.

I downloaded Lauren Graham’s book this morning. Her book is over four and a half hour and I was able to finish it before then! I loved her book and was sad when I realized it was over.

Now I’m closer to my Goodreads goal for the year on finishing twelve books by the end of the year. Finishing Lauren’s book in record time brought me up to seven books so far! And I’m already a third of the way finished on the next book.

I am that excited to have found this feature that I had to write about it. I’m sure Overdrive had it too but I never had the chance to play with it to find out.

Courthouse Views

After work I went over to Sissy and BIL’s house since I had court late from my accident a month ago. Sissy picked up Kim Son on the way home from work. I shared the wings with BIL said had a little of my lo mien. I’m excited to bring that to work for lunch.

[2018] 233/365: Courthouse View

We watched a couple of episode of The Office and then talked about houses before Sissy dropped me off at the courthouse. Things are fast pace there and I was in and out in less than thirty minutes. Sissy came to pick me back up and we are headed back to her place.

Shower, FaceTime with Scruffy and the pups, and relax before bed. Night, everyone!

Psoriasis

Rocky is missing my parents and Rizzo. He slept like a baby on my bed next to me all night.

I made some delicious soup for lunch and I’m excited to have more tomorrow! I’m getting better at soup life.

[2018] 232/365: Psoriasis

For the longest time I’m told I have eczema but today my new doctor proclaimed I have psoriasis. Shots were put in and plans for my skin condition were discussed. Hopefully everything will be better.

June was nice enough to make me pan fried dumplings and cauliflower for dinner while we enjoyed a TVB show.
