[2018] 062/365: Scruffy, Rizzo, and the Pink Backpack
Rizzo will go into any bag I put him in if it means he gets to follow me out of the house. Here’s Scruffy modeling it for me so I can snap this picture.
The background was for later tonight for Emmy’s 1st Birthday party! So much pink!!
Scruffy, Sissy, BIL, June, and I met up with Timmy at Four Bullets Brewery.

Their beers weren’t bad but I was done after half a beer. I feel like I’m not a big fan of beer now. Maybe my taste buds have changed.
Rizzo, Bruno, and Kato were having a GRAND time being out of their cages and into the sun with breeze. This picture, as SIL pointed out when we sent it in the group chat, said it looks as if Rizzo is laughing with Scruffy. hehe So cute!
They had Chef G’s & Sparkle Creations food truck come at one. Some of us were getting hungry so it was perfect! We practically ordered everything off the menu!
Veggie Cheeseburger Sliders and Fries | $9
This was easily the BEST thing on the menu – and it was vegetarian!
Southern Fried Catfish Basket [with fries and hush puppies] | $12
Country Fried Steak Burger and Fries | $10
Scruffy and I shared this and it was perfect. For the price and all the “add-ons” other places usually make you pay for already came with the burger!! We all liked that the fried egg wasn’t runny so that it wasn’t too messy … but then again, it did come with gravy.
Smoked Brisket Philly Cheesesteak Grilled Cheese and Fries | $10
This was pretty good. Only complaints was that the brisket had a little bit of funky flavour. Or maybe it came from the cheese — goaty like? Not too sure.
But overall all the food was delicious!
We all went home. Some took naps, others attempted to nap, while the rest played games or watched telly, or played with Emmy. Then we celebrated her first birthday. (Sorry, no pictures!) She had so much energy, laughter, and funny moments to last us a lifetime. I cannot wait for more birthdays with her.
