***Super long post ahead but …. all Asia posts are now updated with pictures!! It took a long while but I can say I did something productive this weekend …***

I cannot believe that we all go back to work tomorrow. This week went by too fast since there was something going on every day. But so thankful to be surrounded by loved ones. My family was all going to go to B’s and SIL’s for Thanksgiving this year since it’s their first holiday as a married couple and I was going to stay by myself. But they decided to come down instead since I had to attend a wedding this weekend.

Wednesday || I had work while the majority took the day off. Luckily I only had to work a few hours but since one of my coworkers needed help on her project, I stayed an extra to help her out. I then went all over buying wedding and birthday presents and cake. It was Mum’s birthday that night so I took her out along with Dad and June to Thai Cottage. We waited for B, SIL, Jenny, and Sammi to arrive to cut the cake. They brought along their little poopies, Krypto, Pluto, and Joey. The gang was soon to be back together.

Oh … and if anyone knows me very well personally knows I’m not a big lover of flowers. I mean, they’re pretty and everything, but they’re not something I would want anyone to waste their money on for me. I rather they donate that money to FTK or something. I might feel differently if it was someone I had strong feelings for and potentially love. But at the moment … not the case.

Thursday || The pup family together again. Uncle Rocky with their nephews, Krypto, Pluto, Bruno, Kato, and Rizzo. With Krypto and Pluto’s cousin, Joey.

I mostly just sat around working on random things (mostly stickers shopping) before prepping everything. We said smaller portions and we did make less dishes. But we someone still ended up with a lot of leftovers. The boys played video games afterward. If they were playing something cooler, I would of joined but instead, I went online to shop for Christmas presents. Check and check!

Friday || We went and ate sushi for a late brunch and everyone headed shopping while I headed to Kim’s to work on the blog to where all the pictures are finally uploaded to the Asia posts. Then later that night we went to dinner with some family members since they haven’t seen B and SIL since their wedding. Jenny and I were snapchatting Travis the whole time. It was nice to see how he’s been doing. Cantu even texted me and we talked about random things to where he asked why I seem to go to weddings every month … funny he mentioned that because …

Saturday || Amanda and Brent’s big day! I got ready and headed to Sugar Land to the church Amanda grew up in. She literally did everything in that church and now she got married there which I think is pretty cool. After the ceremony, we all headed to Brookshire for the reception. Look how perfect they are! I uploaded this on Facebook/Instagram and she loved it so much, it’s her profile picture! .. That makes me happy. Little things. haha

I was getting hit on by the bartender. The second time I went up to the bar his pickup line was “Where have you been? I never knew how much in love with legs I was until I saw you walk away. Those calves …” I wish I had a butch gay best friend to take to these things. This is my … crap, I don’t know anyone and I’m awkwardly all by myself and I’m trying to act like I actually have friends face. I am horrible at keeping in touch so I’m not close to any of Amanda’s friends like I was a few years back.

The bridesmaids I knew were busy with their duties. Luckily Will and Sara came stag so I hung out with them most of the time. Will is dancing with a beer in his back pocket … When Will complimented me on my calves later in the night, I almost threw up because all I saw was the creepy bartender’s face. haha It was a fun wedding with lots of line dancing. Thank goodness for Will’s outgoing personality. If it wasn’t for him or Amanda and Brent’s friend, I wouldn’t have danced the whole night. I had a dance with Will where he spun me left and right and dips and all that jazz. I asked if he’s ever spun so much that he’s thrown up to which he replied yes. haha

As if I wasn’t already happy seeing Amanda and Brent, the sweetest most caring couple I’ve ever met, tie the knot, I came home with packages! One of which is from Hong Kong! I miss them so much.

Sunday || I’ve been super lazy to where I stayed home all day laying around lazily with Rizzo.

Looking back at this weekend, it’s been a pretty sweet one. Two years ago an old friend tried to take her own life and she’s still here today. I even got an invitation to someone’s family event with whom I haven’t spoken to in a while. There is so much to be thankful for. For being alive. And I texted my happiness to the person I still always want to share my ups and downs with. I don’t do it anymore so I’m not too sure what came over me tonight. I know I’m hard to get along with at times, especially when my anxiety hits so, I’m thankful he’s still in my life after everything, along with everyone else.

• The telly show got picked up for a fourth season. The season premiere aired today but I’m still a bit jet lagged, plus work kept me over since they were having issues. I miss my old job and I’ll always jump at the chance to touch that stuff again so I was a happy goose.

• I so miss wearing shorts and dresses every day. That’s all I wore during my Asia trip except for like two times where I wore jeans. I never understood why it’s always so easy for me to wear shorts and dresses in Asia than here.

• The little poop and I both got pampered this weekend. Our do’s washed and cut. 3 inches off the ends and bangs but not many people could tell the difference. Sigh … oh well. But look at Riz … so cute. Everyone still thinks he’s a pup and I love that I can just carry him around so that he doesn’t touch the dirty floor cuz germs and shiz.

• I had time to update pictures for the Day 5 post this weekend … dang me and my schedule of love. Surrounded by peoples and things I have to do in preparation of seeing them hasn’t given me time to do much editing and updating. I’ll get there. Just keep checking back once in a while …

• Mallory, Madison, and Janna had a little shop party and I bought a little too much stuff. Lucky me though. I won one of the drawings for the shops. Most of my Christmas shopping is done and when I tell people that they freak and call me crazy. But hey … no stress over here.

• Speaking of shopping … I need someone to tell me to stop spending so much money on things for my planner. I am too excited to use my 2016 planner and I’ve bought SO many stickers and Coleto Multi Pens. Yes … I’m that kind of loser.

• Oh … and my new Tieks just came in. Matte Black. Too excited. I have to break them in first though.

• It’s not 100% finalized yet, but December vacation can’t come soon enough. Hoping to purge closet since I’ve had to buy a bit of new clothes through the year since I’ve lost a little bit of weight. Maybe, possibly, visit San Antonio or Austin or just go somewhere with some friends. But I probably will just lay with Rizzo and do nothing because I’m lazy.

This Saturday was a pretty memorable one. Other than so many flights being delayed. Korean BBQ + Movie Night = a very happy me. We had too much food for two people and watched a stupid movie afterward. We sat outside for a while as the rain poured down and gah … love the breeze that came with it. Spending time like this is all I need and means so much to me. Such a perfect Saturday night with great company. Plus, a super soft, travel sized monkey showed up and I’m excited to take him with me! He needs a name. Banana Bo Jangles? Hahaha jk …

Speaking of traveling, I have yet to finish packing. I’ve taken out and put back in so many different items of clothing. I have a list but it’s still hard because usually if I under pack, I can buy things where I visit. But Asia is different since the majority is skinny and small. Sigh, thanks a lot, Asians. Tee shirts and shorts it is. I am still in my meh mode .. not so excited phase and not wanting to go. I’m sure that’ll change by Tuesday when I’m itching to leave work. I’m just not loving the fact I’ll have to be on a plane for so many hours but I’ve downloaded movies, games, and books to keep me entertained. And maybe I’ll write another song on the plane again …

Currently sitting outside in this wonderful weather typing away on my new mini laptop! This one has a way better keyboard than the one I use for my graphic designing! … gahhh so amazing! I just have to get use to the track pad which is driving me nuts but I know I’ll figure it out.

I actually bought a mini one a a little over a year ago but it broke down on me and I was too lazy to get it fixed. The reason for splurging on another mini one is because of my upcoming trip. I want to blog daily like I did on my other long trips but I didn’t want to lug around my heavy, old, giant one. If I don’t like this mini after a few days, I’m going to return it and lug the ancient one halfway across the world so no worries.

It took me just now to realize I’ll already be on a plane a week from now. I am both excited and ridden with anxiety. It’s funny how I’ve always been this way with a lot of things. So excited for what’s to come but also afraid of the unknown. Like with relationships for example – single fo life, yo!

Take Cancun for example. I was so excited about everything we were going to do and getting to witness both my friends getting married. Plus, it was the first real trip without any family members or soon to be family members. I was counting down the days but a few days before I actually left, I didn’t want to leave. I wanted to stay and not go anymore. I was still excited but not as much as I was before.

It was hilarious to me that the guy I was kind of talking to at the time thought I didn’t want to go because of him. If he’d only known how much anxiety I was getting from fear of the unknown. Afraid something would go wrong (which did). But by the end of the trip I did have fun and I did not regret going.

Knowing I’m filled with anxiety doesn’t make it easier this time around but it’s not as scary knowing I’m only going home to see my loved ones with my love ones. I’m excited to make new memories and I’m trying to tell my stupid anxiety to go away because everything will be okay.

Swell … who still uses that word? haha I had one of the best weekends in a long time … that didn’t involve a wedding.

I bought a lot of things I will “need” for my upcoming trip through Amazon, one of which is a laptop. I’ll probably return it … I’m too lazy when it comes to shopping so I usually do it online where returns can be done easily. Because of that, I’m surprised I went shopping (not for the trip) with Apurva. My own little personal shopper who asked my questions and fetched different sizes for me voluntarily. If I had this service every time I shopped, I might actually enjoy it …. Nah.

Invitations. Postcards. Macaroons. A package of Halloween goodness. They were all given to me from lovelies that make my heart melt with joy. It’s still weird when people give me things. I’m not use to it and anyone who knows me knows I’m usually the giver. If I like someone or am super close with someone, they’ll get random gifts because everything would remind me of them. I still want to buy him everything I see but I know he’d be weirded out if I did. But being able to give four birthday gifts to their rightful owners this weekend helped a little. The smiles I received made me happy but they don’t compare to his.

I was able to see a lot of old high school friends and met some new ones at Vincent’s. Always the goofiest times there. Uncontrollable laughter for no freaking reason. Or maybe there is a reason. I spent most of the time catching up with Sebastian per usual and we could feel the jealousy coming off of this girl. I like to purposely egg her on and it’s hilarious to watch them both. The only downfall is I’m stuck in the middle. Sorry, Sebastian. You’re only there for my amusement.

Nine more days … I’m already in vacation mode.
