[2018] 199/365: Car Crash

What a scary moment. I was heading over to Mallory’s and a sudden crash changed everything. I’ve never been in an accident so bad that I had to call a tow truck, not even when someone tboned me. My radiator blew and was leaking all over the freeway.

I’m thankful to have hit who I did because he was the NICEST man I’ve ever met when it came to this type of thing. I mean, I’m sorry I hit him (dang stop and go, jutting traffic)but there was not a scratch on his truck and wasn’t going to report it. And he stayed with me through it all.

We were sweating in the heat and he offered to let me sit in his air conditioned truck. Was I afraid he’d kidnap me or something? Yes. But I took that chance. He even helped me out with everything even when the cop (also a nice man) showed up and he even offered to take me home, letting me drop of my package at a postal service too. Like seriously, he was amazing.

And can I just add, the tow truck man was super nice as well? I left my work badge im the car and he met up with me to give it to me since the place he took it to was closing and I wouldn’t have made it in time.

I am blessed to be alive and am still in disbelief to have met such wonderful men in times of trouble.

I’m sad I wasn’t able to workout today. Mum’s orders since I could have gotten hurt from the accident. So it’s me and my Kindle until bedtime.

[2018] 197/365: Rowing Vigorously

I’m not too sure if I mentioned that I bought a rowing machine a while back. This is during my job searching days and was home all the time and I thought that buying this would help me get into the fitness routine again.I wish that I went and splurged a bit more for the more fancier one but this was a good, decent price and it’s good enough to get me there.

I usually leave this out in the other bedroom but due to all the holidays and special events people have been staying over and I always have to put it up. I finally pulled it out again and thought to challenge myself to do a hundred on the hardest setting and my goodness was it a challenge. But I did it!

Now let’s see how long I can keep this up. Twenty eight days makes it a habit, right? Like blogging everyday this year?

 

[2018] 196/365: I Spy Bailey

Luna knows she’s not allowed on the couches at Scruffy’s house so it’s hilarious when we find her like this. Do you spy another dog in the background? That’s Bailey, Scruffy’s cousin’s dog. She’s the nicest, gentlest, and softest dog ever. I was sad to say goodbye to her.

As we watched the world cup, we ordered Domino’s. I wasn’t a big fan of the pizza and for the cost of the pasta and wings, I was disappointed. For wings and pasta with a nice pizza, fast food-wise, I’ll stick with PIzza Hut.

Rizzo will not stop staring at me once I got home. He misses his mummy! haha I’m sad I won’t see him again this weekend but I know he’s in good hands. Plus, I get to see Liliana! It’s been long overdue. We have some things planned but I just mostly want to catch up with her and talk about the wedding. It’ll be a mini-vacation for me too since it’s been awhile since I went somewhere and explored.

[2018] 193/365: Free Popcorn

Free popcorn is the best popcorn! Work went by quickly today which is always a plus and because of all the hours I accumulated I can leave early tomorrow. Eeek. I’m excited. I’m not too sure what my plans are yet but I don’t care. I have running errands and shopping in mind so we’ll see, we’ll see.

[2018] 190/365: Over App

I haven’t had much time to learn my new apps. I just downloaded the Over app and am surprised there’s so much free stuff. Apparently, if you want full access you have to pay a certain amount a month. I don’t know if I want to commit yet but so far, so good in the free version.

I have so much to learn. I need to practice writing in GoodNotes4 to get a hang of it and understand how my handwriting fairs on it. Scruffy thinks it’s ridiculous that I’ve rewritten the same notes continuously and haven’t found my mojo yet.

And don’t get me started on ProCreate. There’s SO much I want to do and so much to learn! I’ve watched countless videos but until I get to do it, it’s just useless knowledge.
