Lately, songs have been stuck in my head like you can’t even imagine. I’ll go on singing them and uh … I don’t even know the words. Yep … I look ridiculous whenever that happens. Pretty much ALL. THE. TIME.

If I do get the words correct and people ask me who sang it, Sorry, I can’t tell yah.

Anyway, this is what’s going on right now. Oh, you know. Just sitting here in my living room sipping on some TAZO green tea. I don’t have any mugs (sad) so it’s one of the jars I use to make OOIAJ. It’s too hot to handle … that’s the reason for the towel.

Ghetto. I know.

Tammy’s here for the weekend and she’s educating me about diabetes and carbs and all that other junk. She’s a pharmacist student so she needs to learn all of these things and reiterating it all to me helps her remember it.

Eye-opener!!

While she reads me little facts, I’m catching up on other blogs and whatever else I need to catch up on.

I love lazy nights like these where we’re not consumed by social gatherings. A chance to just relax and do what we want … though Tammy is studying … but it’s what she wants.

Sadly, I’m not sure if I’ll make it. I had thoughts of going to Austin with Jenny but leaning towards the not. And if it’s not, I need to find a dress ASAP! Else, I seriously cannot go.

Let’s hope I find a dress because I really would love to make it for them. But it’s so hard for my body to find a dress. Hmph!

I woke up today with a mission.

To get my package!

It’s been in the front office the past four days and three more days, they would send it back to the UPS or FEDEX or whatever and I would have to drive all the way there to get it. Um .. no thanks.

When I got my package, I was running late so it sat in the trunk of my car while I was in school. The whole time I worked at the Involvement Fair and in class, all I could think about was the package.

I mean, I know what’s in it but it’s always exciting to open a package even when you know what’s inside.

I won this package from Jessica from Lil Miss Runshine who teamed up with Evan Webster to do a giveaway!

Evan wrote a little note and added his little stamp. I want one of those. It makes everything that much more legit.

I won a gym bag. Sahweet, right? Now I don’t have to always use my high school athletics bag. I’ve been meaning to get a new one and now, it’s here on my “doorstep”. It’s the right size to go work out with or for a sleepover.

My tee. I really love the material of these shirts. It’s like those sweat wicking kind of textures. It feels so soft and cold across your skin. Mmm … perfect! And look at the front and back details! Gorgeous. Cannot wait to wear this!! If I remember correctly, it glows in the dark. How awesome!

I forgot it came with some Gu as well!!! Lemon Sublime. Mint Chocolate. Tri-Berry.

This is the last package I’ll be getting for a long time. I don’t think anyone’s that lucky to win so many giveaways in one month’s time.

Obviously this post took too long for me to write (a good 10 minutes) that Krypto has knocked out. Ridiculous.

I think I might just follow suit …. it’s been a long day.

Jenny went to visit my family in Houston for Labor Day weekend along with my brother and Tammy.

Yeah, didn’t want to tell you in case someone is creeping and is wanting to stalk me.

She came back today and brought Krypto! He’s staying with us for the week.

And Jenny brought back some of the things from my house.

One including a package from Mallory from Sit for your job. Run for your life. She had a giveaway a while back and I was one of the winners for sending her a healthy recipe!

Excitement!!

It came with a cute little note! 7 Blueberry Pomegranate Gu! 2 Vanilla Bean Gu! 11 Jet Blackberry Gu!

I was so surprised. I didn’t know she would give away THAT much for one person. I was thinking maybe like 10 per person! So generous! Thanks Mallory!!

I do have another package still at the front office. I didn’t get home till after they closed. I guess I’ll have to try again tomorrow. I think I know what it is.

Really really need to study but I’m sitting here … not doing so. Going to relax some more.

Whooo! Yesterday college football kicked off.

For people of UTSA, it was the first ever football game.

We started with Tailgating. We weren’t really sure how to do one but whatever we did, it worked.

FSA was next to us which makes it easier for me to go back and forth. No pictures with them though. Whoops. Next time, next time.

After sweltering in the heat, we headed to stand in line to enter the Alamodome.

I got to sit in the second row of the lower level. Sadly, we were put by the goal. Maybe next time I can sit on the side to get better view.

Football players practicing. Cheerleaders … not cheering. Just kidding .. I don’t know what they’re doing here but it’s better than them trying to pull of stunts. In my opinion, they need more practice.

The guy cheerleaders, I applaud. They were amazing. Found a cutie too. On the right you can see our inaugural marching band. Couldn’t really hear them but when they faced our way, we could.

The game begins. As you can see, we didn’t completely sell out. But still. That is a lot of people.

This is my side of the world. We’re all sorts of filled up.

We had some birds somehow end up on the Alamodome. It was funny because when a play was going on on the opposite side, the birds would still be there pecking at the grass thinking it’s real. Wish those poor birdies get help soon. They’re going to starve!

That’s the number of seats that were filled! And it’s JUST our first game! We made a new record!!

South Florida set the mark on September 6, 1997 with 49,212 people.

We beat them by 7,531 people!!

That’s one of the of the things we are most proud of that day.

We won!! 31 to 3!! The crowd goes wild!!

And they run the field.

I would of done it since I was sitting on the second row but I had the fear of falling on my face and embarrassing myself.

I almost got pushed over. That would have been embarrassing as well.

And if you look closely, you can see some people getting arrested.

They warned us not to run the field so the first one they could catch, they did. I believe they caught 3 guys. Then a guy stripped down to his boxers, and of course, he was caught.

Afterward, I went back home and showered. I sweated a lot and needed a nice long shower. Mmm, felt so good.

Then Travis and A.V. came and got me and we headed to Maira’s house to celebrate. I met her parents and her friend Laura.

We had pizza, made fun of one another, played pool, sang and danced to songs, played that game where you push a disk across, listened to music and talked, and you know, usual hang out kind of things.

It was very laid back and I loved it.

The thing I loved most is her dogs. Joey, Charlie, and Jack. They are so cute! Makes me miss Rocky, Pluto, and Krypto.

It was a good experience and to be there for the first one ever?! Priceless. And can’t wait for the next one. It should be better since I don’t have to work at the tailgate. Whoo!

I’ve been lazy all day and I love it.
