Yesterday, after lunch the parents, June, and I went to a liquor store that had their grand opening that morning.

The design of their shop is pretty cool. I liked their cashier right in the middle. It kind of reminded me of Hong Kong jewelers.

June and I picked out Japanese beer and Sake!

 

While my dad went for the Remy Martin XO. I didn’t want to take out the bottle so I took a pic of the box. It came with a free one as well (right). Sweet. I already claimed that one so maybe we’ll open that when I graduate or something.

Dinner tonight was only June and I. We had hotpot while watching a movie. Don’t worry. We were no where near finishing ALL that food.

We also took out our Japanese Beer and Sake. June got a little drunk … it was funny.

Time to Dance Central off all that food!

Today Sissy and Brett invited us to their place. Ross went back to his homeland for a few days and so they invited the family. The parents didn’t go though so it was only me and June.

We watched Super 8 while some food was cooking in the slow cooker. Plus it was only 3pm. I thought I would hate the movie but it was actually pretty interesting. I was holding a big glass of water and something popped up out of nowhere. I spilled it all over June and the couch and somehow missed myself …

We also played some kind of game called Move from the Playstation? Fun ish. Then dinner was served.

Brown rice with steamed mixed vegetables and slow cooker Asian chicken made my Brett.

Sissy made broccoli cheese soup. I added a little bit of saltines on top.

Mmm … everything was delicious!

Sissy also made dessert. Cake Batter Bars. YUM! Find the recipe and make this NOW! So good.

Then we played the most confusing game ever. Phase10. My brother and I bought it for Brett for Christmas. He loves it. At the end we all understood the game. I’m happy to report, I won! Now I kind of want to buy the game but it’s hell trying to explain the game.

I went home and had half a beer. The other half, I gave to my mum.

Yep our tree is still up.

I was suppose to hang out with Michelle, Nicole, and Stephanie tonight but it was hard making the choice of staying with family or going to see my friends. I am hoping I will get to see them before I leave though. Here’s to hoping.

Back to watching Dance Academy. It’s on Netflix and it’s by Australian people! I love their accent and all the guys are pretty hot in their own way.

I was just sitting here going through my Google Reader and commenting and what not while all of the sudden my Pandora plays some scary crap. Thanks for the heart palpitations, Pandora. I love the fact you put scary movies as an Ad. I can definitely sleep peacefully now.

Outdoorsy Man Wanted

I was looking at one of my friend’s albums on Facebook today. Creeper status right here. And wondered how fantabulous (is that a word?) it would be to find a guy friend that likes the outdoors. Given I sometimes dislike the heat, it would be nice to hike and do outdoorsy, athletic, fun stuff once in a while. So outdoorsy man, if you’re reading this, let’s be friends. We don’t have to date or anything.

The outdoors seem more of a manly thing in my head. But I guess if you’re a girl, you’ll suffice.

Anyway, I should be going to bed. I finally get to see Ed in less than 10 hours! He got a job as a Chef and recently moved downtown. It would be great to see his new pad and catch up!

My mum needed me to do something for her but instead of calling me and waking me up, she sent me a text to do it whenever I felt like it when I woke up.

Then she bought me one of my favorite dishes for dinner and made one of my favorite veggies! Watercress. If you’ve never had it, you’re missing out.

I guess she knew I slept at 6am last night and wanted to reward me for my hard work.

Sadly, I did have to take a few calls that woke me up from my sleep. And I had to make a few as well. All for the site. I gave up on going back to sleep and worked on some things for it. But now they’re all sent to Andrew C. for changes. I hope he is having a good and relaxing day. I think today is the first day in three/four days I have not Skyped with him.

I love his company, but it feels pretty good not having to use my voice. My voice is scratchy from all the phone calls and Skype meetings I had with him and everyone else in between.

I just finished answering ALL emails sent to me since before, during, and after the start of building those sites. It feels good to come to an empty inbox.

Working a full time job isn’t as stressful as it has been these past few days … but I love it. Seeing the work is viewed by many makes me all happy inside. I’m sure Andrew C. feels the exact same way. Thanks to everyone that’s gone there to check it out.

Now it’s time to relax. Xbox Kinect Dance Central 2 … you and I have a date.
