Whoops. I did not know that it was already 1am!

I’ve been so busy all day!

And I’m sad to say I missed my workout. But since Sunday is my rest day, I’ll just make it up then instead. So I actually didn’t miss my workout?

Anyway, we went and ate at Spring Creek Barbeque. It was rainy, rainy. Bleugh. Then came home and relaxed.

Went to Macy’s to buy Alyssa’s Wedding gift. I bought two pair of shoes as well … whoops.

My sissy and I have been talking about sparkly canvas shoes. Found some but they were not cute! And expensive …

Then it was time for dinner time. Since we were celebrating Father’s Day all day, we went to a Le Lai Restaurant. Funky. We went here last year for Father’s Day too. New tradition? ha

Who eats lobster’s head? Don’t tell me I’m the only one!

We came home and had Homemade Pie. My sissy made it. I piped on the words. Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy!

Afterward was cleaning time. By then it was already 10pm but I just had the urge to continue cleaning. My room is starting to look like a room again. Here’s to hoping everything will be done soon!

Just some things I found while cleaning.

Found a card that my sissy never sent her friend. That made me laugh so loud!

The 1st generation IPod. That I don’t use anymore because it’s all kinds of messed up. Hello ITouch … that is about to be all kinds of messed up as well.

Long expired. But if you trust me, I’ll still try to save your life. Just make sure not to let your family sue me if you die.

I would get little comics from this one guy. I loved them. Some were gruesome though.

Found notes/letters written to me from all the way back from 2000! Old sauce! This was when we were in like fifth grade. Stacks and stacks of notes. Now everything is text. How sad.

Oh you know … when Pokemon was popular!

But yeah. Enough with memory lane. I’ll go back there the rest of the week as I clean. I have SO much stuff I’m donating, recycling, and throwing away.

Big hoarder right hurr!

Isn’t it sad how I can sit here writing a card to this boy for his birthday and all I can do is get teary eyed teardrops in my eyes because it brings back memories. Good and bad memories.

Pisses me off because it fogs up my eyesight and then I cannot see what I’m writing anymore. Ugh. Stop being a crybaby, Melissa!

I realized that he has made a difference in my life even though we’ve only known each other for a little over half a year. And now because of the distance, I lost my person to lean on. But no matter how much I wish things could be different between us, it won’t ever be because we’re both too shy to speak up. Or at least, that’s what I think it is. That or maybe he’s not a fan of long distance. Who knows.

Anyway, I have his gift ready to go! And when I go visit SA at the end of the month, I’ll stick it in his hands and make a run for it. It’s awkward for me when people open their gifts I give them in front of me.

And it’ll be awkward when they read that card where all I do is praise him. haha

We’re celebrating Father’s Day today since my sissy has work Sunday. Update on that later.

I’ve been watching Dawson’s Creek. I’ve only seen a few episodes when I was younger but now I can finally watch it all. I see so many familiar faces who weren’t famous then but are now big stars. Weird huh?

This time around it was a little tougher. I woke up pretty sore but I still pushed through. “Pain is only temporary!”

Reunion with Tan

I haven’t seen an old friend of mine, Tan, for 2+ years. And today we did what we always do. Go to the mall.

I’ve been doing Paleo but that dang food court didn’t have anything Paleo so I went for the Philly Cheesesteak Wrap. If I’m going to break my eats, I’m going to go all the way. And I got a bag of chips. I know, I know. I declared today as cheat day.

After lunch we walked around the mall for over 2 1/2 hours. Since he paid for my lunch, I paid for our dessert. Yum! I’m not a fan of cookies, but I was craving some.

On the way home, I took the long way and passed by my old high school. Don’t be fooled. My high school was at least 1/2 a mile long with two floors. This doesn’t count the Athletic part of the high school. I know they say college is the time of your lives but I really, really loved high school. I knew who I was and who I belonged with. Now I feel lost.

Remodeling

Since I’m home now. For good. With a job and all. I’m going to remodel my room. Excited. I have a plan set out and I’m ready for changes!

I cleaned up a bit before realizing I need to take a picture since these changes will be dramatic.

Halfway there. I’m done for the day. Time to rest up for another day of clean up.

It’s been thundering really loud and I’m scared! So Rocky is sleeping with me tonight. I haven’t been sleeping on either of the beds and have been on the floor. Lucky him.
