[2018] 286/365: Dim Sum with the Fam
Cemetery with the family then dim sum in the morning. Then it was back home and laying in bed with Rizzo.
Scruffy and I met up and ended up at Clancy’s. We shared fish and chips and are now chilling at his house.

[2018] 285/365: Meats for Days
Scruffy and I went to a super early dinner at Gyu. So many deliciousness overflowing our table mostly because I ordered incorrectly. Beef tongue is still my favourite though!
We walked around a couple shops before going to World of Beer. Hours pass by and it was finally time for A Star is Born. I’ve been wanting to watch this movie because there was going to be singing. It’s actually one of the best movies written even though it’s very sad. Don’t forget your tissues.
Scruffy let me call the shots today which I’m thankful for. Thank you for loving me.

[2018] 284/365: Chorizo Taco
Sometimes you question your relationships, especially when it comes to those in the office. Are they being kind to you only because it’s the civil thing to do in the workplace or is it because they truly like you?
I was shocked this morning when little girl gave me one of her homemade tacos her mum made her. It warmed my heart (and my belly) that she’d offer one to me instead of another girl who she’s known for years.
I constantly question so many things in my head and with a simple act of kindness I’m given valadation and it all goes away. I know it’s a simple taco, but the simplest of things makes the world go round.

[2018] 283/365: Phone Call with Delisha
Not much of a picture but it means the world to me. Delisha called me on her birthday after I had sent her a birthday text but since I was already busy at work we had to make it short.
Tonight we spent three hours on the phone with catching up about our lives. I am so thankful for her and although she works seven days a week, she made time to have this chat with me. It’s been a long time coming so we had a lot to talk about but man, when a friendship just … works.
I remember when people would be skeptical about our relationship and tell me that it won’t last beyond the office. We have a pretty decent age gap but it never stopped us. I cried so hard when she got let go, like a piece of me died because I was losing someone who had seen my ups and downs. But it’s because of our shared ups and downs that made us stronger.
I cannot wait for our next catch up.

[2018] 282/365: Lazy Rizzo
I feel like Rizzo is my backup picture when I forget to take one since usually at this time he’s with me while I get ready for bed. He was also there when I helped set up dad’s new phone for over three hours earlier. He has so many apps and updates and such. It’s crazy. I was pooped by the time I was finished and told Mum to teach him how to use it. I am pooped and bed sounds amazing right now.
