2016 Subaru Forester

This is a picture of the car the day I signed … before they washed it and shtufffffffff.

I brought home the new car last night and this morning it’s thundering and pouring down rain! Ugh. I hate when you get a car wash and it’s ruined because of the rain. Plus I have to badge in to get to the parking garage at work and because I got my windows tinted, I cannot roll them down for a few days. Rain all over me and the inside of my car. Yay!

But other than the rain raining down on my parade (haha get it?) the car is pretty sweet. I’m still trying to get use to all the functions and so use to pressing buttons on the dash instead of on the steering wheel. I’ll get there one day … or maybe not. Who knows.

Can someone call me or text me while I’m driving? I want to try those features. kthanks!

This came in the mail and my heart just popped out of my chest when I opened the wonderful surprise.

I don’t collect things like this because I never know what to do with them. But eeps nonetheless. I’m sure it’s expensive now.

Soon to be the weekend and I’m excited. So far it seems to be a relaxing one and I cannot wait! Eeeeeeep!

Finally Grown

Or maybe not. I don’t know. All I know is I wish I was still a child living the carefree life.

After Brother totaled his car few weeks ago, he went and bought his first car with his wife.

Dad totaled his last week.

2016 Subaru Forester Sold

Today I bought my first car. And we got a  stink in’ good deal on it thanks to the team of people that went with me.

I knew I wanted to stay with a Subaru Forrester because I’m sentimental that way. Sadly my new car won’t have an awesome name like Forest The Black Knight Forrester. So I have to give a new name. A not so corny name like I gave my first Subaru. Any suggestions?

But the new beauty will have cooler features so I’m excited to test that all out. The car is currently still at the dealership since we are waiting for the tint. But we are hoping he’ll get to come home to us come early next week. Eeeps!

Brother, Sissy, BIL, and SIL all came home this weekend and we are doing a crawfish boil and will play video games after so I’ll have to keep this post short.

Gaming & Blogging

Thankful for my family and video games. Being able to play video games with Sissy, BIL, and my cousins has brought us a bit closer. I’ve been contemplating getting a PS4 to join the boys when I am home. But then I could also just drive out to BIL and play with him physically and link up there. I don’t know. Still up in the air. But I cherish these moments we get to share together even if it’s just “stupid” video games.

Thankful I was privileged to hold another life in my arms. Meet Danica. She’s exactly one week old yesterday. She looks like a doll and I kept getting asked if she was even real. She is so freaking light and she didn’t cry at all. She did yawn and stretch a few times and even opened her pretty little eyes, stared at me for a little bit, then went back to sleep.

Sissy sent me a link last night where adoption agency needs volunteers to help cuddle and nurture newborns awaiting adoption. I would totally be down for it if I didn’t work 9+ hours a day because who’s going to take care of the bundle of joy while I’m at work? Sigh … so adorable. Would be a good test run for people wanting one I guess. haha But I guess it’s a good thing I can’t volunteer because I’m still on that let-me-give-you-this-back mode.
