Hello!
The wedding went well! I had a lot of fun catching up and meeting new people! Realized I’m probably single because I never know when guys are hitting on me. Yes, even when there was accidental hand holding. I still thought, oh yeah, friends. He’s being nice helping me not fall on my face. Cool … until I was told that’s not what that dude intended. Whoops …
But let’s get to some pictures and what I finally crossed off my bucket list because of this amazing, fantastic wedding I got to be a part of!
Day before the wedding, I went and got mani/pedis with Mallory’s family and Leah. Then she gave us our “bridesmaid gifts”. Not necessary but meant a lot. Won $10 off the scratch off!! And she also got us pearl bracelet and matching earrings to wear at the wedding. Really wish I had earholes. *sigh*
Helped set up the place. The wedding was at The Swinging Door, a barbeque place. It was pretty nice before but made it one of a kind after all the decorations. Very rustic, country feel which is exactly what she was going for! If you need a wedding planner, I’ve got one for you. Mallory’s sister, Madison, had everything down to perfection.
Afterward, we had a dinner get together with Mallory’s entire extended family and the bridesmaids. It was fun getting to meet her family members. It’s pretty cool how they are all from different places but get along oh so well! They were all so friendly and welcoming!
The next morning we went for a Starbucks run for her Bride cup and breakfast! Can’t be official without that!
And I got my hair and makeup professionally done! It’s been on my bucket list and I finally get to cross of professional makeup! And it was airbrush! Gah! I die! My skin felt like porcelain. So freaking smooth.
Mallory & I all dolled up! Super beautiful bride, not bridezilla at all. And so thankful that my first wedding that I was a part of was hers. Another thing to cross off my bucket list!
The party waiting for the new couple for their first dance. The groomsmen were such gentlemen and super helpful throughout the wedding. Can we all be friends? … I need more friends.
After my duties, I got … drunk. Let’s cross that off my bucket list as well. It wasn’t sloppy and I definitely did not black out.
Overall, best wedding yet. Low maintenance yet super fun and relaxing. Perfection.
Still on wedding high especially when new pictures surface on Facebook.
Congratulations, Mallory & John! I love you both!

Ahhh! Working for a wedding magazine has made me fall in love with weddings…there’s just something so magical about them.
It looks like you all had an amazing time. In my opinion, quaint ceremonies and receptions like that are the most enjoyable. The bride and groom really get to enjoy their special night without feeling obligated to “make the rounds” and chat with hundreds of people.
And you look absolutely beautiful!

bahaha glad you found it funny. I was embarrassed. Unless the groom invites him to hang out with all of us, I don’t think I’ll ever see him again. haha
