Coffee Break

[2018] 339/365: Coffee Break

I was lucky enough to be shown how to use the fancy coffee machine like a real barrista today. One of my co-workers were nice enough to make me one as we talked about what had happened the day before.

It’scrazy to think that you could be gone without warning. I was blessed to be told way ahead of time at my old job so I cannot imagine these people who didn’t have an inkling.

[2018] 338/365: Burrowed Rizzo

Baby boy must be freezing in my room. I came back from my shower and found him burrowed under all the blankets and pillows I have in my room. He has a save-me-please stare.

Few more days until the weekend.

Train Traffic

Train Traffic

Three accidents deferred me to a different route and got me stuck behind a train this morning. You never know how long train traffic is but I didn’t mind it too much since I got to enjoy some new songs Spotify put together for me.

[2018] 337/365: Complimentary Wine

Work was a bit stressful but nothing I cannot handle. I left early and I went and got a haircut, finally. But if you look at me you probably won’t realize it. Just a trim and a whole lot of bangs. I am wanting to do a wavy perm but I am too scared it will come out horrible and with my limited skills it will probably puff up and frizzy. Sigh …

Good Deed of the Day

[2018] 336/365: Good Deed of the Day

It’s been a lazy weekend but when June mentioned her coworker helps her family and others by a fundraiser for the people back in Vietnam, I jumped to join her. Partly because food was involved. They were selling set pho bowls and congee with pigs blood for ten dollars each. We went and brought back four phos and one congee to have with my parents.

Everything tasted better than I thought it would and I wouldn’t mind going out for another bowl or two again since they do this pretty often. To do a good deed is always a good feeling but being fed just makes it that much better. I understand now why people pay (over) a hundred dollars a plate at galas for fancy foods.

Alone Time

[2018] 335/365: The Ho Depot

This is the first Saturday in a LONG time where I didn’t have any plans and I welcomed it. I feel so recharged and happy to have time to myself where I didn’t have to paint on a face. I did some art and played some music and just enjoyed my hobbies. I even had time to put on a face of makeup and enjoy crazy colors I usually wouldn’t do.

After dinner I went with the parentals to Home Depot … Or in this case the Ho Depot. Too funny. I couldn’t help take a snap of it.

Today also marks five years since we’ve taken Rizzo home to live with us. He is still as cute as when I first adopted him and he still follows me everywhere and cuddles with me every night. My main dude. I love you!
