Morton’s Steakhouse

December 11, 2018 by Mellie Dee Leave a Comment

Starbucks with Natalie

The day started with a brief walk to Starbucks with Natalie. We both got grande creme brulee latte and it was hella sweet even when we downed it to three pumps instead of the usual five.

[2018] 345/365: Morton’s Steakhouse

Work went by fairly fast since I had meetings with vendors and a lunch with my contract company person … Finally. After seven months we finally had our first lunch and catch up.

Morton’s Steakhouse hit the spot and my tummy was very full and happy. Their lobster bisque has a kick to it and it’s actually one of my favourites ever. Their steak was heavenly per usual. I actually took a picture of his cheesecake since I wanted mine to packed away. I gave that to someone in the office instead since it seemed they needed some happy.

Big Daddy's Ass Burn Hot Sauce

My boss’s boss gave away hot sauce that his friend makes and sells. I picked the spiciest because … Why not? I cannot wait to try it except I am not sure what to eat it with. Suggestions?

Nintendo Switch

2018 | 344/365 | Nintendo Switch with Salim and Kieran

[2018] 344/365: Nintendo Switch

I’m going to assume it’s not against work policy to play video games during our lunch hour because that’s exactly what me, Salim and Kieran did. The boys gobbled up their food and we went into a conference room so that no one would make fun of us. The boys played a few rounds of Super Smash Bros while I ate my lunch and laughed at their comments before joining in. We even played a good five minutes of Mario Party before having to go back to work.

Guys, I want one so bad now. I don’t have friends to play with if I got one but I am obsessed. And it helps that they upgraded everything so that there are more characters and arenas and such. And it’s so much easier since there’s motion detection in the controller. Sigh … I feel like I should wait for the pro though.

2018 Wrapped Spotify Premium

There’s this thing you can sign into and it’ll give you all the stats of your Spotify Premium for the year. I am ashamed of how little I listened to compared to my siblings. They both have over 10,000 minutes!

I’m also shocked that I have three Asians on my top Artists list. That only means one thing … It’s time to visit home. Obviously.

Farewell Party

December 9, 2018 by Mellie Dee Leave a Comment

Houston Heights

Houston Heights looks pretty peaceful. Maybe I’ll look into moving here when the time comes.

Waiting for Ed

I was sitting in the car waiting for Ed so that we could walk in together. Since I haven’t been around for over a year and a half I felt weird walking into party groups by myself. Also, I took this picture because my eyelashes were pretty for once. #feelingmyself

[2018] 343/365: Farewell Party

I cannot believe I’ve known some of these boys for over fifteen years now. How time flies! We bid Ryan, Leslie and Brisket Farewell as they embark on a new journey together on the west coast. Safe travels and all the best! P.S. Polaroids are amazing.

Jollibee

2018 | 341/365 | Jollibee

[2018] 341/365: Jollibee

Work went by fairly fast and soon enough Noah and I went and got delicious Jollibee. Mostly because after that first encounter I needed to know if this really is the best fried chicken. The answer is yes – as long as you get the spicy!

I bought so much so I could take if home to my family and they all agreed it’s the best! Y’all are winning, Jollibee, but can you open more locations in Houston? Kthanks.

P.S. How cute are their Christmas bucket design? So festive.

Oil Change

2018 | 340/365 | Oil Change

[2018] 340/365: Oil Change

I got to leave work at 2:30 pm today! It was a nice change but definitely didn’t make a difference since I was still stuck in traffic! I spent a good hour or so waiting to get an oil change. The guy that worked there tried to sell me all these services but broke me cannot be getting all that done at once.

They also give a free car wash for any services. It’s funny because it’s been raining all day so … What use is the car wash really?

The guy was very talkative, as before when I came in couple times before and after talking to him today I hope he takes those courses and start his realtor path for a happier, flexible life. Poor guy. He seems so put together and happy. Goes to show everyone has something going on with them so treat everyone with love and kindness!

One more day until the weekend! Eeek!
