Jamie’s Uncle John came to visit and Salah threw a crawfish boil for him. Although it wasn’t fully flavoured enough I was still happy I got free crawfish.
After we ate we headed back to Scruffy’s. Rizzo been missing me for days so he was excited he got to nap with me. This little booger.
My heart is full and so is my belly. Hehe
This morning scruffy and I woke up super late since we slept so late. We got ready and headed to The Pho Shack before heading back to Scruffy’s since he had people over.
2018 | 111/365: Dinner Party
Scruffy and I put together dinner and now we’re playing the guitar and drums and singing with everyone. It’s been a very chill night and I miss doing this. It reminds me of the college days.
The day started out with driving Rizzo over to Scruffy’s so that he could babysit while I had a full day of fun. Before the fun happened though, I sat in my car outside Kenny’s house for a phone interview. I don’t know how I did just yet, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
I hung out with Grandma, Kenny, Cindy, Wilson, and Mei Mei a bit before we headed out to Wal-Mart where we walked around for a bit. We went and had lunch at El Pollo Loco, best fast food that is healthier.
We then headed to Costco to buy last minute things before heading back to Kenny’s so that they could pack the last of their things.
I assisted in kale harvesting and prepping of the vegetables while they did everything else. Soon everyone showed up and we had a great dinner before bidding our farewells to Wilson and Mei Mei as they fly back to Taiwan. I cried like a baby and cannot wait for our next adventure together.
Favor had a free Chickfila sandwich and delivery day. All you have to do is tip so, I did just that while watching the new season of New Girl that is out on Netflix.
[2018] 102/365: Rizzo Chillin’ Outside
Afterward, I let Rizzo run around outside while Rocky chilled on a cot and I read Food Network magazine. I fell asleep doing so in the wonderful weather. Gave Rizzo a bath and he sat on me afterward soaking up the sun.
Wilson and Mei Mei are finally here and are getting ready for bed for our big adventure tomorrow. Yay!!
Does anyone remember these pizzas?! Scruffy made one last night and I had a bite half. It brought me back to middle school when I’d save my money to buy one because I HATED sandwiches and it was a nice change. I always thought they were some school branded pizzas but now that Scruffy found them, we joked that we’d share a box with salads as a meal because it’s cheap and filling.
[2018] 101/365: Getting Along Just Fine, Thanks For Asking
These pups are finally getting together just fine, and by that I mean Rizzo. He gets a bit territorial with me so it’s nice to see pictures like this. I was still asleep and Scruffy was able to get this shot.
We were trying to figure out what to have for lunch and we did just what we talked about, Red Baron pizzas with salad. We watched The Princess Bride as well. It’s apparently one of Scruffy’s favourite movies as it should be. It was funny and has a good storyline.
Since I got home, I’ve been cleaning getting ready for Wilson and Mei Mei’s arrival. They’ve actually landed last night but I won’t be seeing them until tomorrow night. They’ll be staying over and then we’ll be heading to the caves! Eeeep! I’m super excited!
Now to relax and have dinner … maybe a Red Baron? Mmmm …
