Phew, told you 2016 was a busy year but I’d take this year over 2015 filled with weddings. I felt as if I was running around with my head chopped off. Let’s see what 2017 brings!

Welp … that was 4 years of blogging. 2014 went by pretty fast, the year not a lot of blogging was done. Sometimes you just need a break and to live life. And boy did I live. Too much has happened to where I don’t even know where to begin. So here’s a recap of 2014.

• Paid off my student loans in less than a year!
• First time being asked to be a bridesmaid.
• Fitbit Force from Sissy & BIL … which later got recalled. No worries though. I’ll be getting my Fitbit Surge soon enough.

March

• My first real car accident.

April

• 2014 FTK Dance Marathon.
• Mallory’s Bridal Shower.

• Mallory’s Bachelorette Party.
• John’s & Mallory’s Wedding … Yippie!!

June

• Wade Bowen Concert with these fellows.

July

• Farewell to Al Forno Mementos.
• Hello to Mellie Dee.
• Shiner, Texas adventures.

August

• Visit from Andy & babysitting.
• Visit from Liliana & Patricia.
• Brother & Tammy gets engaged.
• Two Houston Restaurant Weeks and an Ice Bucket Challenge.

September

13^th weekend: San Antonio Trip to mainly see Jenny and Travis. It brought me back to our college years. I didn’t want the weekend to end to where it made me start thinking about moving back to San Antonio.

21^st: Ann and Tony, got engaged which means more weddings to come.

October

4^th: 1 year old Rizzo. Still a rascal, but he’s my rascal that fills my heart with love.

October 25^th & November 23^rd: Renaissance Festival for the first time … then a second.

November

15^th: San Antonio … 2014 FTK Fashion Show and best friend time with Liliana. She even planned out where to take Patricia and I.

December

6^th: Company dinner at Mr. Peeples. Brought Michelle as my date.

12^th – 15^th: Tammy’s Pre Bachelorette Party in Vegas.

27^th: Bayto’s 21^st birthday celebration. When he drinks, he is so out of his bubble … and I love it!

28^th – 31^st: San Antonio just because.

So what’s to come in 2015? Too much. Lots of wedding festivities and a possible trip back to my homeland.

Cannot wait to see what 2015 has in store for us. Maybe more blogging? ……

One post in December. ONE. I’ve been busy living life and not worry about having to update, read blogs, nor comment. No fault in that right? Plus, Rizzo has been a full time job!

• Reunion with Joanne. Love this girl!
• New Orleans for my 1st business trip and all I wrote about was the delicious food I ate. YUM.
• First wine tasting with Mallory, Lauren, and Samantha. Fun and memorable experience!

February

• Two lovebirds got married. Sadly they got divorced as well. But it was gorgeous while it lasted and was great seeing old acquaintances. Also the post where Mallory, Samantha, and I called ourselves The Powerpuff Girls.
• 1/2 year mark of starting my big girl job.
• Chris Cagle Concert.
• Chinese New Year. Year of the Snake.
• Lufkin to visit Michelle. I never see her and I miss her so much. Wish we never grew up so that all my friends were in one location.
• Liebster Award.

• Painting owls with Mallory and Samantha.
• The time I talked about having Zuco in my life at work. She’s made work a little more fun and because of her, able to open up more at work. Thanks, Zuco thought you probably won’t read this.

March

• First Green Beer!
• The cowboy with the unproportional body but gorgeous face.
• Got my eyebrows done for the first time. Big accomplishment. haha

April

• 2013 FTK Dance Marathon. 18 hours of standing. I rather work it than “dance” it.

• 1st time setting foot in Cloud Cafe. And that little laptop I bought last year is no longer alive. Wahhh time for a new one!
• Walk With Me 5k.

May

• One of the best birthdays to date. Love my family and friends! Just a few of those friends.
• Sissy and BIL got married!

June

• Wade Bowen!

• Attempted to teach Sissy the guitar.
• Taught Rose’s little daughters how to bake!

July

• Self hosted and changed my blog name from Mouthwatering Morsel to Al Forno Mementos.
• Officially owned one whole set of a television series. ONE TREE HILL. DURH!

August

• Joined the Ray-Ban Club. Polarized and all. Never going back.
• One year at my big girl job.
• Josh Abbot Band!
• Kemah Boardwalk Mini Vacation with the Fams.
• Liebster Award!

September

• Finally watched Harry Potter series. I was missing out for sho.
• Graphic Designed some things for money!

• Always thankful to be able to have a chance to hold a little life in my hands.

October

• Oregon with Mum to visit Sissy and BIL! Day 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5!
• One of my dear old friend got engaged and I made an Engagement “Basket” for her! Wedding is set for May 2014! I cannot wait!

November

• Probably my only deep post and it’s all about Finding My Balance. One of the reasons I stepped away from blogging for a little while.

December

• Rizzo came into my life. Probably the only thing worth mentioning for December!
• I did go to Austin and ate at some restaurants which I hope to post about in the near, near future. Also got to go to Happy Hour and dinner on the 30th with Mallory, Lauren, Jared, and Stephen. Always great company.

It’s been a whirlwind of a year. Reason I started this blog on New Year’s Day is because I wanted a new start. And because I knew people did recaps every Blogoversary and New Year … and I’m too lazy to do it twice in one year sooooo yep. Here goes!
