Bah! Blogging has been put on the backburner since my brother’s been in town. He’ll be leaving Saturday so life will resume back to somewhat normal. I still have to clean up my room due to moving around furniture. Sucks … but much needed. I should probably do this once every few years. You don’t notice how much crap you’re hoarding until you move stuff around.
Yesterday some of us went out to lunch to celebrate one of our coworker’s birthday/last day week of work. That’s what the carrot cake I baked was for – no pictures though. We went to:

Lunch Special [8" single topping pizza with side salad] | $8.99
The lunch special is pretty much what everyone got. If you wanted to add a topping it cost extra depending on what you picked. Then you get a choice of a side salad: Cesar Salad or House Salad. Always House Salad for me! It was much more colorful than the Cesar.
The pizza came out very quickly (online, it says 90 seconds is all it takes). I got the Italian Sausage plus mushrooms on my pizza. They believe in less is more but … I don’t agree. The crust was very good. At least the parts where it wasn’t burnt. I had a little burnt curst on the right side and underneath. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. To me, there was not enough sauce so it was somewhat dry at some places. The cheese is fresh mozzarella sliced and plopped on with a sprinkle of sausage and mushrooms. Literally a sprinkle of sausage and mushroom.
I’m very picky about pizza since I am not a big fan to begin with. I understand that’s the style they’re going with but I don’t see what is so great about this place. Maybe everyone was raving about it too much and gave me high expectations. Or maybe because the price for that size a pizza is not worth it. I agree with more is more. Slap on more toppings! So will I come here again? Only if coworkers wanted to and it was for a special event.
Brother is out picking up Tammy from the airport. She’ll be here for a few days. Yay.
There are too many words on this post so bye! It’s almost the weekend!
