I worked a couple of hours in the morning at home before Sissy came over. We, along with Dad, stopped by at T.J.Maxx to get socks for Emmy. We found cute little Fourth of July headbands and she had a fun time looking at herself in the mirror.
We took Emmy to Giggles and Fun Indoor Playground. There was a little girl that kept following her and when they were in the ball pit, that same girl threw balls at Emmy’s head. No worries, I stared the little girl down and she stopped.
Emmy was pooped so we headed off to lunch. We were going to get McDonald’s or something but decided on Olive Garden. It wasn’t a super good idea since she started to get fussy towards the end since she needed her nap.
We took her home then Sissy and I went and got manicures and pedicures. It took a couple of hours which I’m surprised at but they were very careful and precise which hasn’t been the case for many places in a while. I love the dark blue but sad about my lavender. I wish it was a tad bit darker.
We went to Sephora and Trader Joe’s to drop some dough then stopped at Krispy Kreme. Not many people know that if the light is on, it means they’re making a fresh batch of donuts, which means you can get one for free! Then we went crazy and bought a bunch of goodies to share with the family.
My new computer chair was long overdue! I’ve been scouring the web for a good year or so. It came this morning and I finally had time to build it. I was kind of proud of myself with how I did. This was on sale and so far, it’s comfy and the added footrest makes a big difference. I know that the “leather” is going to get ruined or when it get super hot, my skin is going to stick to it but for now it’s perfect. It can also recline to a sleeping position and it came with a massaging lumbar support. More like vibrating but it feels okay.
Tomorrow is another day with Emmy and I cannot wait!
