Hmmm … this seems familiar.
Dearest Sunday, thank you for being so relaxing. Letting me spend time with my family but also letting me have time alone at my happy place to work on graphic design stuff for a startup company.
Dearest Dad, Happy Father’s Day. I know we rarely get along since we’re both so stubborn but I know you love me and I hope you know that I love you, too. Thank you for always being there for me when I needed it. Hopefully one day I can make you truly proud of me.
Dearest Ed, I realized whenever I hang out with you (and Ryan and Daniel when they’re there) we act like we’re still in high school – immature. Some things never change, and I’m okay with that. Thank you for driving and taking me to try new places. Lowbrow for duck quesadillas, fries, and Emerald Bay Cabernet. Then to Rice University’s Graduate Student-run Pub, Valhalla, where I met a handsome bartender. And writing a very ridiculous short song (ballad?). I hope you find your cotton candy haired girl.
Dear Weekend, it’s been long but I’m thankful for you after all those long meetings and “drama” from a friend’s girlfriend. So happy I got to see my cousins and spend time with them. Also always a pleasure seeing Joanne. Only wished she would stop badgering me to date. But I know she means well.
I hope you all had a great weekend as well!
Until next time,
