Quote | Date A Girl Who Reads – Rosemarie Urquico
My anxiety skyrocketed last night. Unknown as to what triggered it, and afraid it would get worse, I decided to cancel my plans and stay home. I’m not disappointed though. It gave me time to:
- fix up my resume though it still needs a lot more work
- finished watching The Amazing Race China with Mum (one of the Hong Kong teams won! yay!)
- crocheted – I want to crochet, knit, sew scarves, blankets, etc. and donate them to the homeless when it gets cold. If I make at least a handful this year, I’ll be happy and maybe one day it’ll grow into something bigger. One could dream and that dream would be awesome. Who wants to join me?
- started watching I Dream of Jeannie
- started reading a new book
Speaking of reading books, CLICK ON THIS LINK for the best thing ever written as to why you should date a girl who reads. Above is only a small excerpt of a longer passage but I promise it’s not THAT long. The whole entire thing is my favourite but if you’re lazy to click to read it, another good part is:
It’s easy to date a girl who reads. Give her books … Give her the gift of words, in poetry and in song … Let her know that you understand that words are love … Because girls who read understand that all things must come to end, but that you can always write a sequel. That you can begin again and again and still be the hero. That life is meant to have a villain or two … date a girl who reads. Or better yet, date a girl who writes.
So single men out there, in case you’re looking for just that, I’d just like you to know … I read and write … so holla at me. haha jk.
Debating if I should go to tonight’s party or not. I am so lazy. Happy Saturday, loves!
