I don’t know how I would react if something like this happened to me.
There’s a slew of other ones that freak people out … you should check them ALL out.
Happy Friday!! 🙂

I know a lot of people type and edit their blog posts on their computer. For some reason, I do it on paper more times than I do with the computer. It’s just easier for me to jot down. I do get sad about it though since I am wasting trees …
I got to Skype with Patricia on Tuesday. Even got a little time in with Shayna! We got to catch up but I couldn’t remember some things I was going to tell them. Whoops. Guess it wasn’t important! I was hoping that when I go down to S.A. for the wedding I could see Patricia but she isn’t going to be in town since she has training in Austin … so if fate will allow and our plans do work out, I might be able to stop by Austin … along with seeing Joanne. She’ll be busy with school though so we shall see!
I am sorry for whoever made this screencap … I don’t remember where I found it. 🙁
I also got to catch up for an hour and a half on the phone with Jane. I haven’t truly talked to her in so long due to us being so busy and going our separate ways. It’s pretty great to know that the friendships that I thought were over due to not having spoken in so long isn’t. That they still call me in times of trouble or just because. Those are seriously the best friendships and I am so thankful for them. I cannot wait to see her at the wedding. It’s been TOO long!
I really do miss not being there. There being San Antonio.
Samantha taking a swing.
But I love being here, too. If I wasn’t, I wouldn’t have been able to go to Top Golf with Mallory and Samantha. Samantha and I met John K., Mallory’s dude, along with Robert, John’s friend. We had lots of laughter over most of the time … nothing. I live for moments like these. I did better at Top Golf the first time I went. Beginner’s luck? I am certain it also has to do with a little nervousness with hanging out with people I just met.
I ordered a Turkey Burger with potato wedges from Top Golf and I am sad to say … their food isn’t all that great and over priced. I think I’ll stick to the drinks next time. Bleugh!
New Orleans trip is in 2 days! What?! I’m not ready. My packing list is written down. I just have to physically pack my things and I’ll be good to go. Sadly I heard it’s going to rain pretty much the whole time we’re there. Boo.
Have a great Friday! I know I will!
Holy Guac! I woke up late for work today. But my definition of late is still early so I’m safe there.
I blame Sissy. She came home yesterday for a few hours and once I got home we shopped online. She’s a bad influence. 😉 Online shopping is the devil. 4-5 hours later we ended up buying nothing so our wallets are safe there.
That’s what happens when companies put a $100 minimum to get free shipping. As much as we want that free shipping, we don’t want to buy something we don’t really want/need. So I said au revoir to that beautiful wrap dress that I could of worn for the end of the month wedding. Yep … still searching high and low for it and no luck.
*rant*
I love that I still get calls needing help with FTK stuff … only sometimes I feel used. But I mean … I’m helping right? I brought up the idea of making a LinkedIn group for FTK to Jakob and it’s pretty awesome to see that in 20 minutes, he got someone to do it. The fact that my ideas can still come to life is pretty amazing. It hurts to see the pass classes put together things in FTK and see it go down the drain because the people that took the new positions don’t want to use it because they’re either LAZY or because they want to make their own mark. They should be building … not starting from scratch every time. They are wasting their energy on things that aren’t needed. I liked hearing that they are bringing some things back. Here’s to hoping.
*end rant*
P.S. I was miss Chatty Kathy today at work. Ask me why and my answer would be that I don’t know. But it felt pretty cool to know that if I do become Chatty Kathy, others would talk back.
Happy Tuesday y’all! Tomorrow is humpity day!
Two days ago, I spent more unnecessary money. How you ask?
It all began with me cleaning my room and finding a coupon to Sephora. Went to that site and browsed for the longest time. Picked my items. And when I went to check out I typed in the promotional code to realize it didn’t work. Why?
Because it has already expired. I am one smart cookie. Let me tell you. So I still went ahead and bought the items because I just really REALLY really wanted them. And now I am wanting to buy even more.
Today I finally got to see one of my best friends from high school, Joanne. The last time I saw her was 2 years ago which was before this blog … yep time sure flies. She’s two years younger than me so she’s still in college but oh boy. Our conversations just went.
As I was driving to meet up at Starbucks, I realized she was in the car next to me. That’s how crazy it is.
I seem to have some pretty good friends I can just talk to like nothing’s ever changed and those are the most prized friendships. We talked about school and work – fine I won’t lie … it was mostly about boys.
We’ve both grown so much. She’s much more outgoing and I’m more shy. Funny how that worked out. We flipped flopped. I am so excited that we got to spend THREE hours just talking. If she was a man, I would say our date went really well and there will be another one. Who am I kidding she’s a girl and it still went well and there will be more. We talked till we were hungry and ended up at Panera Bread. We are crazy ducks and oh boy so many memories.
Now it’s time to get ready for bed!
Work in the A.M. and New Orleans in the weekend! Can hardly wait. Fly fly away!
Before I get to my 2013 New Year Resolutions, here’s a recap of my 2012 Resolutions.
I think I did a pretty splendid job with keeping up with my resolutions … minus the weight thing so you KNOW it’s going to be on this upcoming year’s list.
Doable? Fingers crossed.
I know most of these has to do with looks in a way, but for me to be more comfortable in my skin, I need to have better skin.
What are your resolutions?
Happy New Year’s Eve, loves!
New Year, New Memories.
