The weather has been super amazing this week. The cool breeze and little to none on humidity made walks easier. One night it was so cold that I put on my ski overall pants and a sweater with Rizzo wrapped inside. I nearly fell asleep with comfort. Rocky for sure did.
I celebrated the fact that Cinco de Mayo landed on Taco Tuesday this year by going and grabbing lunch from Los Roberto’s. Legit Mexican tacos. I forget how much deliciousness fried tripas are!
There is a website that turns your picture into an Anime character. I submitted the picture on the left and the right is what came out. What do you think? I wish I was that cute! Haha
Some of my creations this week. The air fryer created majority of this. The pizza tastes legit, just like when you order out, all thanks to the mini pepperonis. Funny thing is that the pepperoni did fly a bit in the fryer and had to sop up a lot of the grease before I ate but it was worth it.
I received a surprise in the mail. Right when I saw Kendra Scott I knew it was from Mallory as my birthday present. It’s a friendship bracelet and super cute. Can’t wait to wear it when things go back to somewhat normal. Thanks again!
Funny enough I got to see her Saturday as we had decided to make some tie dye shirts with Beth. Before anyone gets all crazy, I kept my mask and gloves on and even kept sanitizing my gloves just in case!
JJ and Jacob grew up so much! Since I haven’t been over for such a long time JJ was super super excited to see me. Now I know why he loves Trey so much. Note to self: kids love you more when they see you less.
Rizzo slept on top of my head which is out of the norm. He’s been cuddling more with me and June said that he whined a lot when I left the house. I think he’s getting separation anxiety from me being home for such a long time period. Yikes.
We celebrated Mum and Dad’s wedding anniversary with hot pot. I never knew how little I ate until recently. With less people for me to serve food to I finish eating faster. If you know June, I could eat less than her!
Top: What we ended up with yesterday before I left Mallory’s. Beth’s were in plastic bags on the other side.
Bottom: I went back today to wash them out and take home the ones I made. I’m going to vinyl some that look a little plain. Just need some ideas. Hmm … Any suggestions?
June and I had at home haircuts. I did my own per usual and June started hers and I helped finish it off since it was uneven. I think we did a good job.
To celebrate Mother’s Day I ordered succulents from Etsy, Sissy and BIL got rest to eat Dungeness Crabs delivered, and Brudda and SIL got her money to spend at a garden center she likes. I’m sure even though we couldn’t get together and she couldn’t see her grandkids, she knows she is loved.
It’s been a pretty eventful week. Mostly because I went out and saw someone other than my family or random people when I go grocery shopping. Now to figure out what to vinyl on the shirts.
