Egg tart and tea to start the day since Rizzo wanted to go out super early. It’s been a while having a quiet, simple time in the morning to reflect on life.
We went to my early birthday celebration at Peli Peli. Brudda and SIL ordered a plethora of appetizers as their main meal and it was nice getting to try a little bit of everything.
I ordered my usual Cape Town Skillet with a side of brussel sprouts not pictured. Still my favourite dish and have leftovers for another day. So excited!
They gave me a Sticky Toffee Pudding to celebrate my birthday. I was surprised that I actually liked it. So did Emmy! Hoping my wishes come true. I don’t think I’m supposed to eat all this delicious food while being sick but, oh well!
I got a lot of red envelopes and Sissy, Brudda, BIL, and SIL all chipped in to get me a massage. I cannot wait to use it a week or so after my chiropractor appointment. And I am digging the card. So freaking adorable.
We then headed over to Katrina’s first birthday party. We hung out for a bit before heading home for naps and relaxation. Much, much needed.
We all headed over to Gordon’s for our annual Mother’s Day dinner. Now that their balcony is fixed we are all able to enjoy it again.
Emmy loves the balcony so much that she wanted to go back up there after dinner. She is growing up so fast and so tall! She seems like she’s just pondering about life.
I cannot believe tomorrow’s already Sunday! The weekend is going by way too fast!
